excellent iron
This is a relatively light weight iron considering it's quite large in size. Quickly creates the desired amount of steam. Ironing with it is a quick process, removes wrinkles fast. Handle is comfortable for both small and big hands. Highly recommend.

Yes, buy this iron!
This is the best iron I have ever used! I love the blast of steam that quickly gets out heavier wrinkles. Functions are all easy to use and understand. Easy fill chamber, but, you do have to hold it up to the light to see how much water is in it, or could overfill. Lightweight and glides over the item easily, removed wrinkles with ease. The retractable cord is super convenient, just make sure to hold the end of the cord slightly as you press the retract button or it will whip around. Highly recommend and would buy again!

Super nice iron
I bought this to replace one that kept leaking and annoyed me greatly. I read reviews and shopped around and landed here. I hate ironing with a passion; I'd rather clean up dog poop in the backyard. It's boring and well.... tiresome. Yet I'm super picky about my bed sheets (I love the feel of the percale) and looking at wrinkled pillow cases just irks me. So I iron begrudgingly. Okay, I'm actually more irritated than begrudging. However, this iron seems to make that job go a little more quickly, which I appreciate. It's bigger than my previous iron and it heats up quickly. I also like the fact that I keep it on the same setting and can turn off and on separately without moving that dial (my previous one was a dial that changed the temperature AND the on/off function). It holds a lot of water and doesn't require distilled water either.I do have to fill it again about 3/4 of the way through my task because the steam and the spray seem to use quite a bit but that's the only annoyance for my picky desire for crisp, smooth sheets. When I'm done, I empty the water chamber completely and let it air dry on the counter overnight. I have super hard water here in Colorado and want this iron to last longer than the previous one did.

Heavy Duty Iron !
I had a CHI I bought at Costco years ago and it finally broke. I ordered this one from Amazon as it was a step up from the Costco model. I'm glad I did. This CHI is heavier and feels more formidable = seems well built and put together. I also really like the water fill cover as it is very robust. My original CHI iron had it's water fill cover break about a year ago and I was limping along with popping it on and off to refill - it had chintzy plastic hinge that is much better built on this model.I has a great heavy feel to it and I like the design.

In both Form and Function, I found it wholly unusable.
A long time customer of that brand that starts with "R", I thought I'd try out this brand when shopping for a replacement after my latest model died. My new relationship with CHI didn't last an hour. The first thing I realized is that this CHI was requiring a substantial amount of time and effort just to make a dent in my linen shirts. I had it set correctly, full steam on and linen heat. The "R" brand has always made quick and easy results of my linen shirts. The next thing I realized with this CHI is that the steam burst isn't even close to being a burst of steam. Trying to use that so I could hope to make some progress with my linen shirts only yielded more disappointment. I'd label it a lukewarm sneeze versus a steam burst. Then I realized that on the side of my forefinger between the base of the finger and the knuckle I'd developed a blister. Less than an hour of use of this CHI iron had given me a blister. Why? Because its form is as bad as its function. First the handle is very short in length. Then for some reason they made the buttons (steam burst/water shot) flare outwards at the top resulting in the top surface of the buttons extend beyond the width of the handle. Then they made that outward flare have a thin lip that cuts into your hand. There's the source of my blister. There literally is no manner of holding this where my forefinger can avoid the over-sized buttons. Without a way to prevent the flared edge lip from cutting into my finger. That said, I'll point out that I am a 6ft tall male. A very petite female hand may find the handle suits them ok. In my opinion - I shouldn't have to select a brand of steam iron based on my gender. When this CHI model is priced higher then some of the "R" brand models, it's all the more clear - CHI disappoints.

Very nice
I had another CHI iron and find them to be of good quality. I needed a replacement only because I accidentally knocked my former one on the floor and broke the plug in. They get the job done and the settings are easy to understand. The retractable cord is a nice feature.
