It adds warmth adds more comfort
What I don't like about it I will start up there. What I don't like I wish you was just a tad bit thicker and more insulation. But the good side of everything else I think it does a good job for the thickness of the insulation It definitely adds warmth. As for installing it it just clips in It's a little confusing at first but once you understand it's fairly easy. Has a skylight zipping spot so you can let fresh air into the top when it does start to warm up in the morning.Another thing I like about it is the all the corners of the bottom where it would tuck along your mattress It actually has a little extension piece that actually hooks underneath your mattress on the corners so it holds it in place It's not going to flop around. The clips are really sturdy. I bought it for the tapui tent ayer 1 It works perfect. The only difference between the new tapui tents and the old is the canopies itself so when you buy a newer one or an older one the base and poles and everything is the same. So if you're wondering about is it going to fit my older tapui tent Yes it will whether you have a two-person or a three-person it's going to fit. The only thing that they have changed is the canopies itself. Everything about to put tents is the same as for the frame and poles and everything else. Was so on at night that is about 35° in the Utah desert near Moab It probably adds about 15° roughly maybe 20. It depends on your tent really. I have a 12 volt heated pad underneath my two person sleeping bag so I get that warmth from underneath. I have the tent mounted to my overland trailer. That I can plug that 12 volt heating pad into. But it definitely adds a lot more warmth even that 10 to 20 degree difference it makes a big difference on a cold night.I did not buy the anodized hood yet I probably will but overall I'm so happy that I got this.

Thule low pro 3
Just got it tonight and installed on my low pro 3. Fit was good, corners were able to go under pad. Since the first night, I have bought Acacia self inflating pads, 2 of the 28” wide 4” version fit, wall to wall sideways but not length. They leave over a foot of space on one end. This def added warmth as my wife and I got hot, just laying on the new pads. I will use this fall/winter and will update on performance then.Due to the clips/hooks, you do lose room inside, with the low pro line it is more evident… price was ok, it did just lower a bit from my initial search so I pulled the trigger, glad I did. I was worried about it being thin, (news flash, it is) but it will keep heat better than without, with the added bonus of less light transmission.Look it’s not a hotel replacement for all… I now get to get some first turns this winter staying in parking lots, I need a battery to allow us to use our 12v blankets!

Work good but the clips doesn't fit Smittybilt gent 2 overland
Work good, helps keep warm inside temp. The hanging clips don't go around the Smittybilt gen 2 overland bars. Had to use zip ties with the clips.

Works well a little thin.
Used it in 19 degree weather 4 nights in a row with a zero degree sleeping bag. Whole tent was frozen in the outside but the inside was nice. Still cold but bearable. If it were a little thicker it would be much nicer it’s quite thin. Thinner than a moving blanket. But warm enough for my uses down south

Perfect for Alaska
The media could not be loaded. I love this! It turned my "vintage" Tepui (about a decade old) into a snug Alaska-worthy all-season nest. It blocks much of the light from our midnight sun, and will keep me comfortable right thru hunting season and beyond. The fit was tailored perfectly for my 3-person Autana. I don't have the stargazer window on my older model, but the upper zip "window" still gives me access to a gear loft that I installed there. I couldn't ask for better. There are tie-backs for both doors and both windows, so it vents well. The corners are pocketed to slip around the mattress for a good fit in the corners. The whole thing is extremely well designed.Note: the interior is silver- colored. Not sure why my pic came out reddish.

Your hoodie is warmer and thicker!
I was hoping other reviews were wrong about the quality, but they were right on point! I’m an avid camper and have been in the outdoors since I was a baby. Another review said it best, “it’s like a moving blanket but thinner!” You’d be better of getting canvas or possibly a moving blanket and hanging it over the bars. I would not recommend this product.

It works, but…
HORRIBLE fit. To the point that I needed to double check and ensure I didn’t order the two man version. It does insulate, but it could of used another three inches in width (measured perpendicular to the three articulating arms that support the tent) and probably six inches in length. The plastic support hooks and the stretchy bit they are attached to are not going to last long with this amount of tension.

Snug as a bug in a rug!
My wife and I picked up a Sky Autana 3 a couple of years ago and have camped a LOT over the last few years. We have a couple we go out and about with who have a van and we've been camping later and later into the fall/winter. We had plans to go out the first weekend in November and saw that the temps were supposed to be below freezing so we decided it was finally time to get this quilt and I must say I'm very impressed. When we went to bed the first night we laid snuggled up in the bag under the blankets for a few minutes talking and within just a few minutes it was warm enough to just sit around inside of the tent. We had gone out the previous weekend or two which were also pretty cold and the difference with the quilt was very apparent. We also have the weatherhood and are still battling some issues with condensation in the tent. Hopefully we get that squared away. For now we're just bringing everything home after camping and drying it out.I can say for sure the quilted liner will definitely be going any time there are low temperatures in the forecast. It also has the added benefit of being an additional light barrier so between the weatherhood, the tent itself and the quilted insulator, it stayed dark in the tent even when the sun came up in the morning allowing us to sleep in a little longer which was also nice.If you're camping out in the cold with your Tepui, you need to get one of these!

Works Great
Arrived quickly and fit well. The snaps are a little tight but maybe get looser with time. Great product.

Awesome product, but a bit pricey
I took a chance to see if it fit on my enthuze 2 person tent, and it fits perfectly, the price is another mater, I'm not happy with that,It keeps a good amount of heat from escaping. I use my tent all year and found this helps a lot

NOT MADE FOR COLD WEATHER
For a company like THULE, one would have thought an insulation kit would be just that. Not this insulation kit. I live in Alberta Canada. It gets cold here. Thule calls this Kukenum 3 tent as a full season unit.its too thin, not even with this insulator kit makes it that. it might dampen noise, that, is about all. Even with this insulator kit, my 8 kw diesel heater tried really hard to keep it warm inside this truck tent . STAY AWAY from buying this. Go buy moving blankets or insulated tarps. Save your money!!!!! Its going back !!!!!
