How long is the cord between the power plug and brick? Is 6'2" the length between brick and magnetic plug?

Is the wall adapter plug tight enough to hold the weight of the a/c adapter "brick" or will it slip off over time and become useless?

Brick up holds fine, only problem is cord looping behind it when I proped my tablet against the wall. Brick down, no issues at all. I simply love this attachment.
