Q: Is this the best infrared camera to detect blood vessels in the human face? Can this safely be pointed at a humans face?

Thank you so much for your interest in our products. This is an application that is being researched. Unfortunately, this is not possible with the E8. It is completely safe to point our cameras to a human face. However, the internal temperature emitted by the body make imposible to see the blood vessels. This could be possible using a camera with greater temperature sensivity.

Q: I perform pool leak detection. If I pressure test a pipe, can I see a water/temperature difference over concrete? (2-3 ft under slab)

No, you cannot detect leaks under 2 ft of concrete
