The mug is of good quality. It’s big enough to enjoy larger serving of coffee but also a good option even for the regular 8 to 12 oz servings. It thick enough to maintain the hot liquid but comfortable to hold.

It's a nice cup, and fits well in my K-cup coffee maker.I use it daily, and no chips yet. It's not too thick, but not too thin to me. Good value; think I need a red mug, as well.Be aware; 20 oz is at the very top of the brim.

This is the second one of these mugs I purchased; I liked the first one so much I wanted another for the house.What I like about this mug:-- The size. It holds a lot-- It is big but looks like a big "regular" coffee mug, just bigger. No weird shape or design.-- The bottom is only slightly tapered and very short, but feels much thicker, so the mug is stable on the table.-- It's not heavy but not light. It feels solid.-- The colors are solid, bright and pleasant. This one is a subdued blue but still rich in color.The only reason I am giving this 4 stars is because I cannot speak to durability over time. I don't know how it will stand up to being knocked around in the sink because it's new and I'm still being consciously careful because I like the mug and don't want to accidentally break it!If the price stays reasonable, definitely get this if you've been looking for just a big regular mug without froo-froo stuff going on.

Was looking for a mug a bit larger than the average 14oz/16oz size, and these are just perfect! No refilling my coffee mug for me. Nice and heavy and good quality.

I have been using a large 16oz. Waechtersbach yellow mug for years for my morning coffee. The large size holds the heat well and feels good when held against my eyes and face (Did I mentioned that I am not a morning person?). The company went out of business a decade ago and I have been on the search for a replacement for my aged mug.The Smillatte is a good replacement. But, be prepared for a large, heavy cup. The cup weighs 1 lb. 3.5 ounces. It is 4 3/4 inches in height and 3 3/4 inches in diameter. The handle is larger than the mug I was using--I can get three fingers in the handle, (2 3/4 inches) but I have large hands. The rounded base helps avoid hitting the bottom edge when placing in the microwave.I am ready to settle down and have a long-term relationship with this coffee mug. I will update if I find anything to report.

Great mugs, good size! My main goal was to get cups that wouldn't get super hot in the microwave. These are just what I needed. I started with two, then ordered two more.

Since others are commenting on handle size, I can fit all 4 fingers (female, medium sized hand). I love the yellow and will be getting more of these, one in each color. Update: the blue color is a paler blue than pictured but still nice.
