I bought this for use in a legal case. Very easy to setup and use. I have scanned thousands of documents with little to no problem in a short period of time. Jams are easily taken care of. High quality scans (600 dpi) converted to PDFs, or other file types, and stored where you choose. So far this scanner does everything it is advertised to do.Pros: I'll buy another if necessary and I recommend it to others looking for a duplex document scanner with auto feed.Cons: Initial PDFs are very large files and may require users to use "reduce file" feature in Acrobat.

I purchased this for travel and it is perfect. I highly recommend purchasing the padded case. It has a separate pocket for the cables keeping everything neat and handy. I put the thing in my checked bag and haven't had a problem after multiple flights.This is a very well engineered product. I plugged it into the USB port on my laptop and it powered up right away. Windows 7 recognized it and I was scanning in seconds using the software built-in to the unit. This is a duplex scanner and it's really fast. It outputs to .pdf and ,jpg which is all I ever use. Specify the filename and folder you want the output to end up in and you're off. I have not tried the included OCR software.Simple to use. Great looking scans. Highly Recommended.

The case works for the scanner. I rated it a 4 due to cost. Since this is a mobile scanner you really need a case. The price of the case is really high. Since we will be using it on our sailing yacht I needed a case, therefore stuck to pay the high price for it. Amazon was the same price as everyone else. Surprised me. This is the first item I have bought from Amazon that was priced the same as other dealers.

This case keeps the scanner and cables very tidy and secure. It's a nice tight fit and feels like there is plenty of protection for general travel.However, the price, I think, is too high for what you get, but it is a great fit, which is something you wouldn't get by using something not made for the job.Hurts to buy but painless to use!

I don't know if I've ever been so happy with a case before, but it's just big enough to fit the compact scanner and is super easy to use. I enjoy how quickly I can throw the scanner back in the back with the cords and everything is ready to go and tidy. The handle is also great for carrying it around. I have it hanging on a hook by my home office desk too so it's ready to grab anytime I need to scan something on the go.

Perfect little scanner if you need something you can travel with or that will auto-feed a few pages at a time from home office. Takes up very little space (does more or less require 2 USB ports).FYI, they have a bunch of other attachments for this device that will make it wireless and/or can use with Tablets and such if I'm not mistaken.

I love this carrying case. I use it for my Canon scanner which Im also very happy with. This carrying case is of VERY high quality. My scanner and cables fit perfectly in this case. I read some reviews that complained of the price. But this is a quality product that fits the scanner / cables perfectly and will last forever! Its worth the price!

I am glad that this was included free with the scanner that I purchased, because otherwise I would have essentially been forced to purchase it. The scanner fits perfectly and there is even extra room in the form of a divided space for the cords. This is a must-have for anyone who purchases the scanner, which is a very nice piece of equipment itself.
