Good at the beginning but the flint wastes too easily!
It takes a lot of scraping to remove the black paint which is best done on a newspaper and maybe even wearing gloves as it is quite messy!The flint created lots of sparks to begin with but after a week it's very difficult to get a spark. Maybe it it worn but there's no way I used up 4000 strikes in a week! I thought the bar was solid flint but there must just be a thin layer of flint covering the bar!I chose this because it was a higher rating than the Bear Grylls one which was the same price! It was also thicker (which I assumed was solid flint) and it was longer for a better strike.All in all, it would not recommend this product or buy it again as I don't believe that it was worth the money because it only lasted a week!
