BETTER THAN POLAR
Lasted me 3 years. Still works, just smells so buying a new one. Would never buy another polar replacement, this one lasted way longer!

This replace my Polar H10 Strap. So far, so good at two weeks.
I have a Polar H10 which I think is currently the best one on the market. I use it for multiple machines and the bluetooth is flawless. Currently used on a Precor AMT, an RP3 rower and Concept Skier, and no issues with HR on any of the devices. But, the straps deteriorate over time. I wash and rinse them after every use, but the strap delaminates after a year of sweating and stops functioning.I usually buy the Polar, but this one is 1/2 the price and looks OK.And, it works without a hitch. There are two issues which have been noted by others:1.) The rubber around the snap in grommet is somewhat thicker than it should be. The Polar device will clip into the grommet, but it may pop out if the strap is twisted or flexed. I am hoping this will get better in time. One person noted that he/she used a razor knife and trimmed the rubber. I hope the added rubber may protect the metal from the sweat, so I am leaving it alone for the moment and hoping it will wear in.2.) The second issue is that this strap is more like the old style Polar. I really like the new Polar straps because the stretch material feels better and the attachment is with a plastic interface snap that releases with a button push. This strap has the old style hook and loop. It works, but not as aesthetically pleasing. So, still five stars. It works, it is almost just like the old style Polar, and transmits the signal without a problem.I will update if the rubber grommet issue doesn't get better or the strap prematurely fails. But, for the moment, based on price and the fact it works, I give it five stars.

It works with Polar and is Cheaper!
Modified review after a year of using it.It lasted just over a year. I typically used it 5 days a week for 50 minutes of stairwell exercise. I'd get very sweaty. Sometimes I would use it more during the week. Unsnapping the Polar H7 finally started pulling of one of the snaps. I used to roll it tight and put it in a pouch, but that seems to contribute to the plastic backing to start cracking. Lasting a year with intense use I think is all you can expect from these kind of straps. My Polar straps only 6 to 9 month. Next time I purchase a replacement, I will get the 2 year extended warranty, if they still offer it.From my original review:The replacement strap works with my Polar H7 monitor. Here are the differences from Polar's strap:1. It hooks on the opposite side (right side).2. If does not have a shielding piece of fabric that the Polar strap has. But this did not decrease the comfort for me.The price was cheaper. I notice that the Polar straps last only 6 to 9 months for me. The weakest points on the Polar straps was the metal hook broke, and the plastic/rubber/latex backing behind the snaps for the monitor crumbled.I've only had this strap for a month, so I'll see how long it lasts. It was a lot cheaper than the Polar strap.

Much better alternative to Polar and Garmin Soft Straps
I purchased a Garmin sensor with a soft strap many years ago and after less than a year of use the snaps began to break away from the strap itself which led to erratic readings from the sensor. I replaced it with another Garmin soft strap only to find that is suffered the same problems.I decided to give the Polar soft strap a try after that. It too yielded similar results although the cost was lower than that of a Garmin soft strap. When I purchased the Polar soft strap again I was disappointed to find that they had altered the snap collars in such a way that it was incompatible with the Garmin sensor. I guess Polar didn’t want the straps used with Garmin sensors for some reason. I was able to modify the strap buy cutting away the plastic collars but it was inconvenient.Enter this soft strap. Tired of both Polar and Garmin I decided to give this a try. I’m glad I did! I've come to find that the Polar and Garmin soft straps will last around 200 hours of use before they begin to flake out. This strap now has over 400 hours of use without issue and is still going strong. I’m purchasing another one just in case they decide to discontinue this at a later date. One quick note: Both Garmin and Polar recommend washing their straps periodically (once a week if I remember correctly). This strap did not come with that recommendation so the only care I perform is to thoroughly rinse it out after each use.Pros:Long lastingComfortableFits as DescribedCompatible with my Garmin sensorCons:None

Great replacement for Polar H10 band
Try this band if your monitor is not tracking correctly!Pros: does the job for less moneyCons: may require adjustment mid-training, fastens differently (not a con for me)It’s a great band for less than half the cost of a Polar band. Since it seems the Polar bands only last for 2 years or so, I will be happy if I get that much or longer out of this HM USA band.I bought this as a replacement since my Polar bands were dropping my heart rate. I would be out of breath, feeling like I was in the 145-155 range, and my Polar Beat app would show something in the 50s, sometimes the 70s. I tried all of the workarounds to confirm the H10 wasn’t the issue. One Polar band seemed to be less capricious than the other; so, I checked reviews and found out others have had the same issue with Polar bands failing. This replacement worked right out of the box just fine.I will say the Polar bands do seem to stay in place a bit better than the HM USA band. I use mine for strength training, kettlebells, and Concept 2 machines; so, I can’t speak to jogging/running, but I have needed to adjust mine especially if you’re using lats as it seems to push the band lower. It also attaches with a hook rather than a clip (see side by side comparison with Polar) that has worked just fine so far. Connecting the Polar H10 is a bit snugger than the Polar band, but it fits fine in my experience, contrary to some other reviews.
