Great product! No nasty smell and my hair felt ...
Great product! No nasty smell and my hair felt super soft after using. I am about 30% gray and this color covered it completely. I used 1:1 ratio with 5.5% 18 volume developer. The only thing I will say is this does not come out a dark blonde. Comes out MUCH darker. I knew that about this line before using so wasn't surprised. My hair ended up being a dark chocolate brown, which is what I was shooting for. My natural hair is a level 5 and this worked just right. For reference, the first time I tried dying my hair with this line I used level 3-0...yikes!!! My hair was basically black. Hope this is helpful!!

I love the entire Essesity line
I do not like wasting my time and money in the hair salons - especially that I like my hair to have a uniform color. I have a sensitive scalp and very thin hair, and this product is as delicate as a hair coloring product can be. I couldn't believe that it is not smelly, and leaves my hair soft and... healthy. At first I thought that this is just an impression, but after 6 months I have more hair than ever, and I am quite sure that I stopped loosing hair because I switched to this product. I love it! The colors are great, and I get the package color every time I try it (tried shades 7-00, 6-00. and 5-00 - all are beautiful)..

9-14+6-0= Perfect Color for Me
I read as many professional reviews as I could find and then read every/any user reviews and part particular attention to Amazon and MakeupAlley.com. Armed with all that knowledge I went full steam ahead, for my base color I use 2/3 6-0(dark blonde):1/3 9-14(extra light blonde) and I am definitely not blonde, I have medium light brown hair that is neither ash nor warm-toned, I like my hair to be a light beige brown and that's not easily accomplished with most over-the-counter retail color kits. I used to use a L'Oreal Semi-Permanent ammonia-free color called Lt.Beige Brown, which was great, but L'Oreal discontinued the whole line. So I went internet hunting, one thing to note is that Schwarzkopf colors run very very dark and that's why I use these specific shades remember the longer you leave color on the darker it will get. I also use Essesity Oil Developer in a 1:1 ratio. I am so pleased with the results and an added benefit is that the little time that my hair is exposed to the sun it no longer oxidizes to an undesirable rusty shade. One more thing, if you are used to using a plastic squeeze bottle that will not work because the color AND the developer are so thick that it is not possible to squeeze the mixture through the tiny opening, the only way you could do that is if you used a pastry piping bag.

I can't smell a thing but looks great.
First time user in a pinch situation to cover roots with white stringy things lol. I use Keune UC because it's gentle on my hair, even though I mix with 20% vol close to my natural brown. I was really skeptical ordering color online, but did research on Schwarzkopf site to compare their lines. I have really sensitive scalp, yeah I know everyone says "sensitive scalp". I have lupus, fibromyalgia and contact dermatitis and hypersensitivity. Sometimes I can't run my fingers through my head I feel like it's on fire, other times everything smells awful.I'm really pleased with my choice, I thought I lost my sense of smell! I bought their IgorA (red) developer because I couldn't find the essensity soon enough, no smell. It's not runny, first time I didn't have spots all over my bathroom, the few I did came off and didn't stain at all. I'm not a pro but taught enough by pros to do a more than decent job. My hair is near my waist so I do not enjoy doing this on my own at all. I will say I'm probably sticking to this and see how it goes. Covered well, no smell, no breakage, vibrant and soft.

Quality. Mild on my scalp
I have been using this product for a long time. I have a sensitive scalp and this is better. The seller can do better at protecting the product when shipping.

Excellent for sensitive scalp
I have sensitive skin and a sensitive scalp. I wanted to cover my abundantly grey hair, but had many issues with different hair-color products in the past. I tried Garnier, L'Oréal, and Schwarzkopf Royale. My scalp itched terribly. Not anymore. Essensity is different. It proviides excellent coverage (I mix two colors using a scale, which creates a more natural result, keeping the remaining of each for the next time, no problem with that) and it does not itch, as long as you do the following: be sure to keep the Essensity developer in a safe place not exposed to drastic changes of temperature, agitate the bottle well before each use, measure double of the developer than hair color (for example, 30 grams of hair color needs 60 grams of this oil developer; I use 18 vol.) and, very important, add two little packets of Color Essentials Allerga. Result: beautiful, resistant hair color without scalp irritation at all. It has been working for me for years now. Good luck!

Just the color NO essensity oil included which is MUST !
This does not come with the oil for mixing. It’s only color . Directions to use say mix it equal quantity of essensity oil developer. I had the packet unopened for a week and now when I want to use it I realize I am stuck without the oil. The product description should clearly say so. Wouldn’t have bought it !

Finally a color that doesn't irritate my scalp
I'm naturally a blonde but I color my hair black. I've been using Clarol professional hair color from Sally's but it irritates my scalp. In the past when I used to get my hair done at a salon they used this color. So I found this here and absolutely love it. It covered my grays and my hair is super shiny plus no itchy scalp. Definitely try it.
