You remove the battery case in the reverse method of installing it. First turn off the phone then start at the top of the phone, grab the two corners with your fore fingers and then use your thumbs , push the back of the phone with your thumbs. It's a little tight, but the rubber case should then slip over the top of the phone.

I charge the case with a plug in charger with the phone. It charges the phone and case. I have watched Videos, movies, played music and/or talk on the phone for over 6 hrs and still can be at 100% using the case. Once the case is charged it push the back button to charge the phone. It has so far worked 3 times longer but always have a charge
