The best nut butter for people with CKD!
I love this nut butter and it's the only one that's safe for people with CKD to eat. I add pumpkin and hemp seeds and spread it on sourdough bread. Delicious!

I would buy this by the case...if I could afford it!
Due to their lipid profile, macadamia nuts are the healthiest of the nut family. So, my household is crazy for them! Unfortunately, they're not exactly economical. So, when I spend this much $$ on a little 8-oz jar of nut butter, it *better* be good. To avert taste/texture disappointment, I bought a tiny 2-oz. single-serving container of the same brand & product at a local natural foods store. The product inside the jar I ordered on Amazon arrived identical to the single-serving I'd purchased. I agree with another review: it is a bit gritty, but I don't mind that. I mean, it's not gritty like sand. It's not the texture of smooth peanut butter, nor the texture of crunchy peanut butter. It's somewhere in-between. It's also more fluid than peanut butter or even almond butter. That is likely due to its higher (but better!) fat content. As a result, it doesn't "spread" very easily. That doesn't stop me from eating it with carrot or celery sticks as a snack, but it just doesn't coat the way that the aforementioned nut butters do. For me, this isn't an issue. I buy it because it's healthy for my family, and we could easily eat it straight off the spoon (I vehemently deny any accusation that I've done that...wink, wink). It tastes very fresh, and has a natural mild sweetness that's fantastic.Given the price, I likely won't be buying this on a regular basis. Compared to regular macadamia nuts at my local natural foods store, this is a luxury item. However, knowing how expensive the ingredient is and how high quality the product tastes, I feel it is a good value. So, when I feel like a nut-butter-and-jelly sandwich, this won't be my go-to, but it's a nice little splurge to have every once in a while.FYI, the jar indicates that the only ingredient is "organic, raw macadamia nuts." Based upon another review, I'm not sure if the manufacturer has changed formulas recently, but I just received my jar 2 days before writing this review.

tastes great!
It just as advertised. I use it instead of butter in cookie recipes. you have to use a little bit more than the butter because it isn’t as greasy as butter is.

Very good nut butter
One of my favorite tasting nut butters! Goes great on everything from toast to pancakes.

decent stuff tastes a bit like cake frosting.
pretty good though I'd like it better if it was 100% "smooth" with no chunky bits.. it is MOSTLY smooth, so I will continue to buy it until I find one that is 100% smooth.

Very expensive, not returnable.
Please DO NOT order this item if it's your first trying it and $18 is a lot to you. It's not as smooth and creamy like the description says. It is a grainy and almost more watery than creamy, and I did mix it in case it was just the oils naturally separated. If it was just a few bucks I would say whatever but this very small jar cost almost $20! There is a crunch to it, I guess I missed that and that’s on me. But over all the texture an taste is not what I expected and I love macadamia nuts. No shade on the company, maybe it was just not a great jar or it’s not for me. I don’t know. There are no guarantees as this item is not returnable, but if you are like me and already made this mistake you can always try to reach out to Amazon. Again no Guarantees, but it wouldn’t hurt.

Oh well!
The brand name drew my attention to this product, and the reviews were off the chain, reviewers loved it, so I decided to give it a try, I'm a nut head and you can't go wrong with macadamia, but the consistency threw me off I expected something a little thicker but it was runny, I read the information on the container it said "certified organic by organic certifiers," I don't know if this was supposed to be poetic but it got me to thinking and wondering......I will give it ⭐⭐⭐ anyway...
