This is a very good deal for a rubbed bronze drain. It is well constructed and the color is good. Only issue is the small holes make it drain very slow.

as other reviewers have said, this drain is very poorly designed and does not drain well, due to surface tension on the flat surface/drain holes.I will add this; with a stainless steel wall mounted, exposed sink, with a metal trap and drain pipe, this poor decolav design resulted in a noisy drain and a loud "drip" -- 30s-- "drip" --30s --"drip" water torture for about 30 minutes after each use, due to the water eventually overcoming surface tension and dropping down the center of the drain, hitting the water in the trap. [if the sink was ceramic/china and fully enclosed and the trap/drain pipe pvc, this drip might not be as audible.]also the drain never fully clears, as at some point-- due to surface tension. the remaining water just beads/hangs in the holes. [not an issue of venting etc]replaced this with a Kohler decorative grid drain [which is not without its own issues] but which does drain quietly, completely and much faster, and with no "drip" "drip" whatsoever, as the water slides down the side of the drain.hope that helps

I totally agree with the review below. The drains are a great price and high quality, but they do drain rather slower than a typical drain. We have the waterfall type faucets, so this is ok for us because the water pressure needs to be a bit slower than normal. Overall, great product.

This grid style looks like it would be nice for a vessel sink, but it is simply not functional. Due to lack of overflow holes on vessel (sit-on-top) sinks, which allows air ventilation, the grid style by its flat design cannot let water drain properly at all. This drain kept water standing in the sink for a VERY LONG time! SO disappointing. HOWEVER...the answer is to get the other Decolav Non-Closing Umbrella style drain. It works just great. The water flows out instantly. It is Non-Closing so you don't have any potential of leaving a drain closed, and water running, and without an overflow hole, you would have a mess in your house with the water. Here is the one to get: Decolav 9290-PN Non Closing Umbrella Drain. Decolav's installation instructions with the sink actually recommend this drain, but we did not see that until we had the problem with the grid style.

We ordered this for a vessel sink we were installing. Looks and works great!
