Outstanding for Old and New Glass Milk Bottles
I have about six new half-gallon and two old quart milk bottles that I love to use instead of the plastic bottles milk now comes in. So when I get home from the store, I take time to decant all the milk into these glass bottles and enjoy it from that. I can't prove it, but I believe it makes the milk last longer; it certainly tastes better. While you can of course buy bottled milk, I think it's better to do that once, keep the bottles and lose the deposit. It will save a lot of money.I also use the bottles for making a large amount of a smoothie and pouring it into the bottles. And this summer the bottles will also host my gazpacho, a summer soup I adore beyond measure instead of keeping it in tall pots where it takes up annoying amounts of room in the refrigerator. With these sturdy and long-lasting caps, I now have a ready supply of convenient and easy-to-store bottles for my liquids. I love that I was able to get these at a very reasonable cost so I can look forward to cleaner, neater, probably healthier and certainly more attractive containers in my refrigerator.

Replacement Caps for The Dairy Shoppe® (6 pack, 48 MM)
They've held up well. They're better than the original caps that came with the bottles.

Caps... You can't live without them
I've used these caps a lot. Snapping them off and on and they seem to stand up the use... until they don't. One cracked after a year of regular use so I wasn't surprised. On one occasion, I accidentally dropped a pint bottle full of milk. It just slipped out of my hand as I opened the refrigerator and the bottle hit the floor with me expecting to have a big clean-up job for the evening but nothing happened. The bottle didn't break (tough little things!) and the cap stayed on. My evening was free of disasters!

Works despite a split
I suggest you buy several caps. Eventually, they will split. I have a split cap that still works 6 uses after getting the split, but I test it out every time because eventually it will fail. Yes, I soften the cap with hot water to soften and sterilize it before putting it on. It will still happen; if not by you than by the person jugging your milk, which you can't control. It gets 4 stars because it still seals despite having a crack. I'm not sure you can buy a cap that won't split. I bought 3 pourer caps, and one of those split despite being much thicker plastic. The thicker the plastic, the harder it is to soften it and attach it, so there is a trade-off. Given that, I think it a waste of time trying to find a cap that won't split.

Fits Trickling Springs Organic Half Gallon
I got these because I wanted to keep using the trickling springs organic milk jugs I had saved for return. I didn’t keep the original lids, so these are exactly what I was looking for they just are very expensive for what they are. It was approximately $1.00 per lid when I purchased them. I figured without them I can’t really use the jugs so I purchased. No way they are worth $1 each though and they do seem a tad thinner than the ones that the TSO milk jugs come with in the first place.

I was a bit annoyed to find they came with stickers on top because ...
These function as expected and are almost as pictured above. I was a bit annoyed to find they came with stickers on top because the whole purpose for me buying these was to get away from the sticker residue of the bottle caps of the original bottles I bought at the store. However, after leaving my terse seller feedback I attempted to remove the sticker to see what kind of a mess I was going to deal with. I was happily surprised to see they remove very cleanly, no residue! Sorry for harshing your mellow, seller...but you might want to update your item picture to show how they will truly look.

Not like my original lid
I ordered my bottle several years ago from The Dairy Shoppe and the original lid was a much heavier plastic and held up very well. That being said, I’m replacing it now as it cracked on the sides, I’m assuming due to it getting brittle with age. These lids also don’t have The Dairy Shoppe logo on them, which I liked. If I could find the heavier lids, I’d still buy them, even though they cracked.

These fit antique milk bottles
These caps fit perfectly on some pint and quart from the 1950s, including Sealtest. The caps seal well, but may not prevent leaks if bottle is stored on it's side. Since I use mine for mostly dry storage, it works well. These are flexible plastic with a safety seal ring which can be removed or left in place. Dishwasher safe, in a cage that keeps them from being blown into the heat element in the bottom. IDK how long they will last, but they are inexpensive.
