I absolutely LOVE this product! I bought it because my new rescue dog has giardia and several other intestinal parasites including hookworm. While receiving daily medications to treat these conditions, her poops were still a horrible liquid mess and it seemed very uncomfortable for her to try using the bathroom. After feeding her these carrots according to directions, her poops immediately firmed up and looked healthy and normal!**I just want to be clear that I am not using these as a medical treatment for her parasites- only as a supplement to ensure she has firm poops.**After additional testing from the vet, her parasites unfortunately have yet to clear, but these carrots help ensure her poops are firm in the meantime and I intend to continue feeding her these carrots after her treatment is completed since they offer so many other health benefits and my dog loves them!Aside from working incredibly well, the thing I appreciate most about this product is the convenience. These are VERY convenient to use since the carrots are dehydrated pellets- making the bag light while not taking up very much space, unlike canned pumpkin (which is also so expensive). All you need to do is microwave a mug of some water and add a tablespoon or two and allow it to soak for a couple minutes. I prepare the rest of my dog’s food while I wait and by the time I’m done, the carrots have absorbed all the water and look fresh and mushy! I find this so much easier and less wasteful than opening a can only to use a small amount and storing it in my fridge for the next several days. It is also much, much less expensive than canned pumpkin for the amount you get!

Best natural product for digestive, bowel issues in dogs. Have tried pumpkin, etc with limited success but these dehydrated carrots really work. Have older dog who had continuous issues with loose bowels but this product has really stabilized her. Just need to get her out as soon as she is done eating and all good. Just rehydrate it and mix with her food and she loves it. Of course lately she loves all edibles!

Our vet recommended Olewo to us for our puppy who was having tummy issues- these dehydrated carrots do what they say they will do! They come dehydrated and with a little oil ( we use salmon oil) and warm water the hydrate in 10 minutes and turn into a fluffy texture that is easy to mix into food. The dogs love it and has helped keep poop more firm. Great alternative to pumpkin or to use in addition too. Health benefits include eye health, digestive health, weight management, immune system support and skin/coat health- less shedding! With three goldens this is an added bonus! So glad our vet recommended this brand of products!

This stuff is GOLD. It is the surest, fastest way to stop even severe diarrhea. It isn't a cure if your dog is sick, but it definitely helps the gut function more normally, and halts the running-to-the-door to go out every hour . Also good for soft stool. It's great because it's just carrots. No additives, with nutritional value, too. It's the best thing I've found - better than pumpkin or probiotics or ProPectalin or Proviable

My six-month-old mini Bernedoodle puppy got giardia and coccidia parasites before I got her and has had soft stools ever since. She's been on four series of medications prescribed by my vet to get rid of the parasites, but unfortunately nothing seemed to clear it up. To try to firm up her stools, I've used probiotics on her food, pure pumpkin and other supplements that were supposed to help. Nothing did. Then I saw this product on Amazon, and I thought why not try it. I followed the directions and started putting it on her food. Within a day her stool was getting firmer. It continued to improve daily, and after four days her stools have been firm every time she goes. I'm amazed - it seems like a miracle. I could think maybe the parasites cleared up and that's why the problem has resolved, but I'm confident it's this product that has turned things around. I'm grateful to have found it. I've already placed a 2nd order - will use this on her food from now on.

I call these carrots "magical carrots," which has made the people in my inner circle laugh but that is only because they don't understand the magical transformation I have witnessed in my dog's stools in less than two weeks. I have a 7 month English bulldog who we got from the breeder at 11 weeks. At his initial vet visit, giardia was detected in his stool. After battling giardia for weeks and being on two rounds of meds, his stools were terrible. By terrible, I mean no form to them whatsoever. We switched his food from chicken to lamb, gave him probiotics, and gave him the prebiotic of pumpkin. No noticeable change to his stools. Finally, in May the vet suggested we switch him to a prescription HP diet. We had no recourse as nothing else had worked. After a week on the prescription diet, his stools did noticeably improve, but the stools he would have later in the day would be a little messy. However, in recent weeks, his stools really started to backslide to the point that they had basically returned to what they were before we started the HP diet. Even the vet was perplexed by this. Although we know that seasonal allergies (grass pollen) are contributing to his poor stools, it is very upsetting to see diarrhea and loose stools multiple times a day. Yes, you do have to know what the underlying cause of your dog's diarrhea or loose stools is and manage or treat that cause, but these carrots have really helped feed the good bacteria in his gut and, as a result, have allowed us to see healthy stools for the first time since getting him in February.
