I'm very happy with having a 4 usb ports-they work great. If the 3 ft cord were shorter that would be better for my desktop work area. Otherwise... thumbs up!

A good product!!

Used it with my new Mac to connect a CD burner/player, a remote hard drive and a card reader. Everything worked. Because of my set up, I wanted to add a 1.5 foot extension cable and when I did , nothing worked. I don't know if it was a bad cabe or not.This is an addition to my original review. The product support for this hub is phenomenal! They answered all of my questions, suggested solutions and stayed in contact until I was satisfied. When I need to buy additional electronics, I'll certainly look for their name. I've upgraded the stars from 4 to 5.

The media could not be loaded. I love the look of this hub, it is small and minimal. Beautiful space gray aluminum that looks great on the sleek shape of this hub. It has a long cable which is very rare and hard to find at an affordable price. Really this is the only one that I could find with a long cable that was even remotely affordable. The long cable was important to me because I don't want a hub dangling four inches from my laptop, I want it sitting off to the side and just one cable connected to the laptop.It has 4 usb 3.0 ports, 1 HDMI port and 1 usb-c input port to charge your device.As much as I wanted to keep this hub, ultimately I had to return it and here is why, I have a 4k monitor and the refresh rate is limited to 30 hertz at 4k. 30 hertz is too slow and cause me eye strain and just wasn't going to work for me. This is not the manufacturer's fault, I should have read the description more thoroughly. The listing says that anything under 4k will work at 60 hertz, which is a great refresh rate for most people.So if you don't have a 4k monitor then this hub should work perfect for you (I’m jealous). This is very well made and very aesthetically pleasing, I really wished that this worked for me but I was forced to go a more expensive route.

I just needed a few extra USB ports and a clean way to plug my second monitor into my HDMI port. I almost gave in and bought a hub that was twice as much as this one, when I really just needed the longer cord.This little hub has been a perfect solution. It is long enough to run from my MacBook Air to the second level of my desk. There, I have the hub attached to my second monitor with a 3M strip. The HDMI cable is concealed behind the monitor. This means I literally have one connection to power my laptop, connect external USB, and connect to my monitor. It looks really clean and contained. I'm very happy with this purchase!

Long cord. Great price. Works as advertised. Setup is MacBook Air M3 + HDMI display + 920C Logitech webcam on USB A + USB C PD charging. No complaints!

Update: I messaged the company once. I really didn’t expect much but the company went above and beyond to ensure I had a quality product. They tried troubleshooting but when that didn’t work they sent me a second one to try. They followed up with me. It worked! I must have gotten a faulty one but they made it right! A company that cares is rare nowadays but they went above and beyond. I will be buying from them again and I will recommend to others. Thank you so much again.Needed this but it’s causing my Mac air to crash every time it goes to sleep. Has to reboot and an error message shows up. I have contacted the company but no help yet

Update: after 11 months of use, this hub is busted. First, my mouse started acting funny, and wouldn't track properly, but everything else in the hub still worked. I though it was an issue with my mouse, got a new one, and had the same problem. Then, the HDMI connection to my monitor through the hub started to drop randomly, and come back. Maybe three times in a workday, and I started to think that all problems might be with the hub. Finally, maybe one day later, it truly kicked the bucket. When I plug it in, it'll mount properly, work for maybe three seconds, and then unmount. Then mount again. Then unmount, etc. Truly, fully, borked.Final analysis: still love the longer cord design, but this wasn't built to last.For some ungodly reason, pretty much every other USB C hub has a six inch cord. If you're using it as a dock for a laptop, then the hub, with all it's wires sticking out, will be sitting on your desk, looking ugly and taking up precious space. This beauty has a three foot cord! Get it. It does everything it says it does, and the longer cord puts it in a class by itself.Why not just use a USB extender on any other hub, you ask? Well, because the USB C spec doesn't support extenders. Yes, people make them. If you're lucky, they might work on a single device. But on a hub? Not a chance. Trust me, I tried.
