Wow, super fun
Did with my 9 year old. It probably is too challenging without a teenager or adult to assist, but this is so fun and it is very inexpensive. A must buy for Lego fans who want to experiment with super basic electronics. Great quality. Instructions could be better.

Good item but it could have been made better
I git this to build with my kids, I figured it would get them away from roblox atleast for a little while lol. However its ok product but quality is not there and it makes it a challenge to get it all together. Its a good educational build and good value for the money, just wish it was better quality.

Great Customer Service, 12 month warrantee
My 4th grade daughter really enjoyed building this robot. Unfortunately our solar panel did not work (my husband tested its function with a voltammeter). The customer service team sent us a replacement right away. 5 stars for a company that stands by their products!!!!

They are such wonderful projects.
My 4 year old grandson is putting this together by himself. He loves these projects.

Cool idea, but tricky to use
This kit has a lot of potential with 12 robot designs and a solar-powered feature that’s meant to be educational and fun. The variety is great, and it’s definitely a creative STEM activity for kids. However, the instructions can be confusing, even for adults. Some parts are really small and difficult to snap together, so it takes a lot of patience and focus. Not ideal for younger kids working alone. The solar panel only works in strong, direct sunlight — indoor lighting or cloudy days don’t give it enough power to move, which was disappointing. Using a lamp helped a little, but it’s not consistent.A fun concept overall, just not as smooth or easy to use as expected

Breaks
****update. The company reached out and sent us a new one. Great customer service! My son got this for his birthday and just now started putting it together (after the return window) it has pieces broken already and is unable to be put together. He's so sad.

Poor quality and incorrect directions
Move on. This one is a dud.I have read a lot of reviews of products and decided not to buy them based on the review. As a result, I think I have avoided buying a lot of junk. This one must have slipped by though so now it's my turn to warn others. I honestly don't know why the others rate this so highly; I expect the parents are doing all the work and then handing the toy to their child.Even if this toy met expectations, it would NOT be suitable for kids younger than about 10 years old.The directions contain a 1:1 diagram (sounds good) but the diagram is not the same size (1:1) as the parts (very bad). Contains 190 pieces (sounds great), but you have to cut them all out AND THEN remove the extra sprues with the included nail file (now you too can do factory labor in the comfort of your own home!). Basically, they were just trying to save money by having the user do the work that should have been done at the factory. The instructions look like they would work (super!), but they do not (lame). The gear assembly requires several hands to hold it all together while getting all the pieces in the right place. Many of the axles have multiple stops on them where the washer can be placed to push the gear into the right position, however the directions do not state which stop the washer should be placed at. You can see how some of the parts are SUPPOSED to work, but they are not quite a good enough fit to perform as intended. As others have mentioned, many of the parts look the same, so it's easy to confuse them. There are different colors of plastic, which could have been used to differentiate between parts (a great idea), but instead the similar-looking parts are the same color as well (poorly executed).Yes, it's fun to watch the gears go around when the solar panel is placed in light, but no it is not fun to find that the parts do not go together as described.
