This is a great coat rack, quite solid and sturdy. Looks fabulous and amazing value for money. The only issue, as others have mentioned, is the fixings aren't substantial enough, but thanks to the reviews I was prepared and ordered some self drilling rawl plugs and screws at the same time - they've done the job perfectly. I'll just use a blob of glue or blutack to keep the screw covers on, job done.

Love this rack. Ok our looks great and it’s very solid. Previous racks have jd hooks break or not quite enough hooks for our family. This is perfect and has received many comments.

Arrived quickly, and they are a good size with a lot of solid hooks. However they are fixed to a metal plate, not wood, which feels a bit flexible. I will have to see how it does when loaded with coats.One of the end hooks had a chip in the black coating.The supplied fixings are inadequate. I used my own screws and rawl plugs. The screws provided are too short, see the attached picture where the larger screw is one of mine.

This looks good. It is well made and easy to fix to the wall. Now all my coats in one place. Great buy.

Quite easy to erect. The drilled holes are some 16 inches apart. The means that it should be possible to drill directly into wooden studs rather than plasterboard if you are not erecting on a solid wall. The rack is lightweight metal, but the material used shears off quite easily. I had the unit for only two weeks before a hook sheered off. From my experience its best not to overload the unit with too many coats or heavier items.

Seemed flimsy out of box, but once installed it’s very sturdy. Clean matte look. 16” stud centers for anchors. Black caps won’t stay on (used 2” deck nails for sturdy install)

For the price you get a lot of storage. It is a little flimsy- especially since I’m hanging a lot of coats on it but for the price it’s great!

I was able to mount it on studs. Parts think that’s the only way to go if it’s going to hang that many heavy coats.
