Works For My Philips DCB152!!!
UPDATE:Still works ok, only two things I have run into are that my Philips hi-fi now doesn’t go into that blue light eco mode anymore and I’m guessing even switching the Bluetooth receiver off it still powers it in the background. No worries though as it just displays the clock and the smart meter shows 2p an hour running so makes no difference to the cost.Other one thing that has happened I was playing a compilation album and twice the hi-fi turned itself off? It was a hot day and I’m guessing but only a guess as maybe because the Bluetooth receiver is acquiring power in its own standby state maybe the hi-fi isn’t cooling down as standard. That being said I’m trying it right now it’s cooler today and the unit is just warm.Still giving this product 5 stars as I do understand my hi-fi is now supplying power to it and the fan on the back can only do so much.First off, thank you for the people getting back to my questions saying it might work but I think it’s just for Bose. Well I was worried it wouldn’t work only through the auxiliary port. It works fine on this model and it isn’t on the support list. There was some answers saying if you have a 30 pin iPod dock it should be fine and I couldn’t agree more. Not also does the iPod dock power it, it also plays my music from my iPhone on Music app or Vox app from the store. My files are MP3 320kbps and did read that it only plays MP3. Interesting as I tried some samples from a search and found AAC, FLAC and MP4 worked fine?Anyhow, such a good Bluetooth receiver and even though I’m sure it states the version you get is 3.0. Well it must have been upgraded as it’s now 4.1. Usually they say 4.2 and above for not harsh on the compression from your wireless music but to be honest it sounds great to me.What’s a bonus I had a Logitech 3.0 Bluetooth receiver and this is it’s replacement only down to now it powers from the iPod dock on the stereo and now have a free plug socket, the Bluetooth signal that sends to it plays fine with no lagging. Even in my pocket and walking from the kitchen to lounge it didn’t drop in signal. For just over £20 it does make a difference. If you do have a problem with the Bluetooth not playing at least there’s a Auxiliary port to use a 3.5mm cable from the headphone jack to this. Also the Bluetooth name is under SOUL2.

Works well
Fantastic bit of kit. I had a low expectation that it would work. Glad to report total success with Bose docking station.

Good things come in little bundles
Small light and good Bluetooth connectivity, works well and is so simple to use. I have a Bose base station which had been redundant for quite some time, with this little gadget I have put it back to use, good price too.

Perfect!
This is perfect, I bought it for my Altech Lansing speaker (for iPhone), which I love and did not want to get rid of. I have had to use a jack cable to connect the speaker to my laptop. Then I found this Bluetooth adaptor. It's easy to install and worked immediately. The sound quality is excellent and the Bluetooth connection is continuous. Now I can move the speaker around and connect it to my Android phone and laptop. The adaptor is great for giving a new lease of life to speakers that might have been thrown away they can now be kept and used.

Works for old SONY MINI HIFI MHC-EC69i.
I was sceptical this would work on a 15 year old Sony. My model is the Sony Mini Hifi MHC-EC69i.With the hifi switched on I firmly plugged the Bluetooth receiver into the iPod dock - switched on the Bluetooth receiver - selected iPod on the hifi. I then synced the Hifi Bluetooth receiver with my iPhone 16 looking for ‘SOUL 2’ and was instantly able to play music through my old Sony system. I did not need to use the included cable.I’m very impressed this work.

Turned my old Bose speaker into a Bluetooth speaker.
Product didn’t cost very much and terned my obsolete Bose speaker into a fantastic Bluetooth speaker. I’m very pleased with it because the Bose speaker has an excellent sound but became incompatible with my phone via cable. But with this device it works perfectly as a Bluetooth speaker and it works with other phones / devices etc.

Great little gadget to bring new life to old sound systems
Rather than spend a fortune on a new decent speaker, I was told about this great little gadget to be able ti get new use out of my old 30pin Bose speaker. Why get rid of a quality piece of kit when for a small price this Bluetooth receiver sits in place allowing you to once again use that old system you’ve got.Simple on and off switch on top so it’s not always on or having to turn off at plug. Same quality sound, no delay in signal, set up within seconds.
