Very awesome clarinet, it's definitely like a composite plastic material which is fine, it still sounds nice, but it's difficult to put together, even with the grease. I'm hoping through time it becomes easier. I wish it came with more reeds, the only one included had a small crack/thin spot already so it didn't last long. We were able to order more through Amazon though so it worked out. I love that it comes with the grease, alcohol pads, gloves, stand, weighted cleaning cloth, etc because it's so convenient and appreciated. All in all, this is an excellent instrument at a very affordable price.

Amazing for the price, sounds great, build quality is great, case and accessories are fantastic and cover all the bases! Perfect setup for a beginner looking to learn clarinet.

I am a person returning to the clarinet after decades. This is good clarinet for such a purpose.It is annoying that if one part is not good, Amazon requires that the entire "unit" must be returned - which brings to my mind the question of what might be wrong with the next unit, requiring another return, and so forth into the future.What was wrong with the clarinet that I received? First, the ligature is designed to have small shoulders that accommodate the reed's shape. My ligature was misshaped in the manufacturing process, so I bought another one -$6. Second, a neck strap is included, but it is for the sort of clarinet that has a ring into which you snap the hook of the neck strap. The type of clarinet that is being sold here does NOT have such a ring. In order to use a neck strap with it, you need the type of strap that has a leather adapter. So, I bought another one - $19.Since I could not return only the problem parts and get ones that were good, I decided not to risk seeing what might be wrong with the next "unit," and as a result, the clarinet cost me $25 more than it's listed price.

Been renting for 2 years now, roughly $40 a month, was really nervous about the sound not good enough but my daughter tried it and think it sounds fine for beginners. Build quality seems solid, button is staying on and easy to play, the stand was quite useless tho, but we love the case that came with a strap as well and plenty accessories for cleaning. Wish I had done this 2 years ago.

My daughter uses this for band. Maybe an actual musician can tell it’s cheap, but I think it sounds amazing. It’s great quality and value for the price.

We loved this clarinet. However my daughter has only had this clarinet since January and the mouthpiece bent and is now not useable, through no fault of her own. She opened the case one day to play it and it was bent. I don’t know how to get in contact with the company to see what we can do. She really loved this clarinet.
