Fast and reliable
I was tired of waking my children up when they were sick to take their temperature. This thermometer allows me to turn it on, place it on their forehead and take their temperature in a matter of seconds without disturbing their sleep. The digital face lights up so you can easily read the results even in the dark. The thermometer shows the actual temperature in either Fahrenheit or Celsius depending on your preference. Along with the actual reading the thermometer glows yellow for a mild temperature and red for a high fever. The fact that you put it on their forehead and not in their mouth allows you to take several family members temperatures without the fear of spreading the germs. The price is fair for the product.I have not had to change batteries since we have owned it.I like this product and would purchase it again.

A necessity
Every home needs one. Easy, reliable, non-invasive, quick, and I assume accurate. Love the color coding; green = no fever, yellow = low fever, red = fever. Can take a child’s temp in the dark, without waking them.

Made well
I needed a new one. The dog got my old one. I had the first one for a while. It works great‼️

Inaccurate POS
Stay away. This thing is the thermometer equivalent of a stopped clock. It’s right by chance not by design. If you want to guess at your temperature use your imagination—this is not going to help you. If you want to know your temperature this thing is going to be worse than useless. As far as I can tell its readings are random. I have seen 3 degree swings from taking two measurements within 30 seconds. Run away from this POS.

This was very frustrating for a while due to poor instructions
I don't really see very good directions on how to use this, but after countless attempts, I finally got it figured out. The instructions are written in a special fine print normally used for hidden clauses in contracts. I had to use a magnifying glass, which was frustrating - because most of the print was more promotional than useful, like why we would want to use this fine instrument. It seems to be pretty accurate now; I don't really expect more than 1% or so, so you can expect it to be within about 2% of other decent thermometers if one is high and the other is low.One problem they might like to look into is the cap. I found myself often forgetting to take it off, which is definitely not good. I'm going to put a piece of tape across it so I will notice better, but if if could flip open, possibly when turned on, that might reduce a lot of problems. It's really not that visible, and I suspect there are others who forget, or even didn't realize it was there.

Easiest, best I've owned
This thermometer is SO easy to use. When you don't feel good or are grabbing this at 3 am you don't even have to look at it to be able to take your temp. One button on/off. Put to forehead just between eyes. Press the Temp button. Done. It'll turn off by itself if you just put it down. It takes 2 AAA batteries which I like better than the "everything has to be charged with USB" trend >:(There's a cap that covers the laser lens that snaps on or off. Readout is clear with colored background...green for OK, yellow for high, red for fever. My phone doesn't take great pics but the colors are vivid and numbers crisp.I've had much heavier, complicated thermometers that stored multiple readings, took 3 or 4 tries to be accurate, had several buttons. This is light and sweet. Recommend!

Inaccurate and only lasted a year
It lasted one year and now it doesn’t work… it just says “error”. It didn’t seem to be very accurate even before now though; I ended up taking three temperature measurements and averaging them because they would be different each time. For example: 100*F, 101.2*F, 100.6*F.
