Safe and Effective
100% recommended. It works fast.My pet had a terrible flea infestation that I'm ashamed of letting develop. I didn't take action until months had gone by and they had Total taken over the house. I honestly sprayed the entire house with two bottles. I had bought one and it seemed to work so I bought two more. I still have a bottle and a half, but ever since I last sprayed I haven't had any fleas around and I would tend to get an ant swarm every half year or so but they haven't shown up either. I also used the same brand shampoo. After spraying, I didn't see them around the house but they were still on her for a while. While they were on her they didn't seem to stick anywhere else and once I washed her a few times, I'm so happy to not see her relentlessly scratch and to pet her without any scabs or debris or bugs on her.I sprayed leather couches, wood, steel, porcelain, I even sprayed my clothes and bed.My final note, I even sprayed my body with this. That's how bad our problem had gotten. It was perfectly safe on MY arms and legs. I didn't even check to see if this product was skin safe, but I had no effects other than ending the pest problem. I am not suggesting that you use it in that way, I am only sharing my experience. As I'm reflecting on this now, I did this to my legs multiple times. I only sprayed the most infested spots of the house twice, the second time was only to put my mind at ease, but just the one time spray for most of the house was fine. I'm not a licensed expert, I'm only sharing my opinion. Since I sprayed my legs many times, my opinion is that it does not absorb or stick to the skin and washes off easily. I also had to respray my sheets, so it must wash off of that well.I keep thinking of additional things to mention. I sprayed my pets eating area, drinking bowl, eating bowl (WASHED BOTH OF THEM OF COURSE) and litter box. She's fine. The shampoo smells alright and leaves her fur scented with its "non scent" but also leaves a sort of coat that doesn't completely rinse or scrub off, however, it doesn't seem to be dangerous. I rinse what I can and she licks herself, and I kiss her (no tongue) and this product overall seems very safe.Doesn't seem to affect spiders. Though haven't sprayed them directly. Spare spiders, they'll get the real bugs.

Worked Like a Charm (I Think)
I just moved into a new house with 3 other roommates, 2 of whom own cats. The roommate who lived in the bedroom I now occupy also had a cat, and it was prone to having fleas. I move in, no pet, but to my dismay, I'm the only one in the house whose room is plagued with fleas. The landlord had steam cleaned my room twice prior to me moving in, and I had seen the house on several occasions, both before and after the previous occupant moved out, and there were no fleas. I guess the eggs were dormant for a while and decided to hatch to feast upon me.I notified one of my new roommates, who quickly set about flea bombing my room to no avail! In the meantime, I had been doing research so I already had this Adams Spray en route (as well as other products that I will mention shortly). The day it arrived, I sprayed my carpet and let it sit for a couple of hours (the instructions recommend letting it sit for at least one hour). I went in my room, stood still for a few moments. Usually the fleas attack my feet within seconds, I stood for several minutes, no fleas. My roommate vacuumed my room, and she had some food grade diatomaceous earth on hand (this ain't her first go-round with fleas), and she sprinkled a layer of this in every nook and cranny of my room. I let it sit overnight while I slept in a flea-free part of the house. In the meantime, I set up a Victor's flea trap, which consists of a light bulb and some sticky paper. In doing further research, I read that recreating one of these traps is as easy as having a desk lamp and a dish of soapy water, but that's neither here nor there. I checked the trap several times throughout the night, no fleas. I checked once more this morning, there was one flea stuck to the trap, a very dead flea. I again stood in several parts of the room, no fleas. So it's been 24 hours since I've used this Adams room spray, and I've yet to see a live flea. But as it's only been 24 hours, I'll remain vigilant. Also, because I just moved in, I was able to quickly and easily remove everything from my bedroom because I discovered the fleas before unpacking anything but my bedding. I also purchased a new mattress and box spring prior to moving in, and had a mattress cover on my mattress. So I will say that having an empty room and a protected mattress worked to my advantage. I also purchased the Vet's Best room spray for my bedding, mattress, box spring, and upholstered headboard for extra protection.Long story short: It's been 24 hours since using this spray in my empty bedroom, followed by vacuuming and a sprinkling of food grade diatomaceous earth, and I've yet to see a live flea in my bedroom.I'll update accordingly.UPDATE 5/21/2017: It's been four days. I found 3 more dead fleas on my sticky trap, which is odd because the trap was just sitting in a corner in my room, NOT turned on. Also, there was a live flea crawling on my arm today, and I sprayed it with the Vet's Best spray and it died instantly. I emptied my room once more and did another thorough spray with the Adams spray. So four days later, no new flea bites, 3 more dead fleas, and 1 live flea. I'll continue to update. I know it takes at least two weeks to be completely rid of fleas using this product, so I still stand behind my 5-star rating.7/27/2017 UPDATE: It's been a little over 2 months since my last update, so I thought I'd share my final verdict. There have been no more fleas or flea bites since my last update. However, the fleas may have migrated to my roommate's bedroom, because she ended up with a worse infestation than mine in her bedroom. She too used the Adams spray, and all has been well. Also, as a precautionary measure, I sprayed another round of Adams in my room so the fleas wouldn't find their way back to my bedroom. So far, so good. No fleas, no bites, and should I encounter either, I'll know what to do. Although I used several products, this Adams spray was an integral part of getting rid of these fleas. 10/10 would recommend.6/14/2025 UPDATE: It’s been about 8 years since my last review, and I was making recommendations to a friend with a flea problem, and had to recall this pretty devastating time in my life (dramatic I know, but this is the perspective of someone who didn’t grow up with pets so had no prior experience with fleas). I’m happy to report that after the July 2017 update, I encountered NO MORE FLEAS FOR THE NEXT 4 YEARS. I moved out of that house in August of 2021, not because of the fleas, but because I moved across the country and got a place on my own. In those 4 years, I cycled through a couple more roommates, none of whom had any residual flea problems. I obviously don’t know the state of that home currently, but as the last remaining roommate with the flea problem, my entire home was flea-free for 4 years, even though the roommates with the cats moved out within my last year of living in that house. I haven’t had to deal with fleas since then, but if I do, I’m glad I know what to do. Provided the formula doesn’t change, Adam’s Best is definitely the way to go.

Easy to use, Safe and mostly effective.
Amazon couldn't deliver but thankfully Chewy.com uses a carrier willing to bring the item to my house. This has a pleasant smell. I use it where my dog sleeps and other frequently used sections of carpet. It has controlled most fleas. Not perfect, but much improvement. There has been not harmful side effects on any of my pets. I have even sprayed my own shoes.

slasher summer (insect vers.) !!!!!
i dont leave reviews often (or at all!) but i had to give one for this god sent of a product!i purchased this to ensure all fleas died from our furniture as our doggy ended up getting a few on his body. i sprayed it all around the house hoping to kill the fleas but it ended up killing EVERY animal in my house. i woke up with a dead spider and 2-5 house flies on the ground.safe to say it works WAY better than expected! no skin irritation and leaves NO smell. i assume the fleas are 100% dead and gone, and will probably not enter the house for a while. i might have to stock up!
