So happy with my new trimmer, I was using a smaller guillotine trimmer, and hated that the paper always wanted to twist on me. This new one cuts really nicely, has a smooth action, and can fit nice large sheets. Love it! The only thing that would be nicer would be better directions in terms of use/care/maintenance for the blade, that sort of thing. It came with one sheet that was hardly helpful.

When i saw 24” cutter i thought the overall dimension was 24” but that’s just the cutting space. This things is huge, had to turn it sideways to get it to fit on my desk to use. Guess i just misunderstood the dimensions. It would be 5 stars if the cutter would glide better, it’s not as smooth as i expected.

Not everyone has used rotary cutters enough to have a decent feel for them and understand exactly how they are supposed to work. I am one of those, and so I supposed that adequate instructions would be supplied. They weren't adequate at all and simply mentioned a few points and cautions without actually explaining much.Most do not do this, but I make my own business cards because I want card stock that exactly matches my letterhead paper. I also have had some poor experiences trying to get business cards cut properly at typical chain office supplies stores. So, I've long done them myself, using a cutting board, a razor knife, and a steel ruler to cut them apart. They come out very well, but it's a laborious process. I tried a guillotine paper cutter once, but they are not accurate enough.This device cuts very well, but I had to figure out how to do it myself, given the lack of meaningful instructions. Probably there are better ways of doing things, but how am I to know? Also, there is a powerful strip magnet, which I suppose is for holding sheets in place when making a cut, but that's just my assumption, given that it was in the box and that's all. There also was a shorter black strip with a couple of magnets on it, but its function remains a mystery.There also is a hole at one end with a sticker next to it advising that turning something one way tightens, and turning it another way loosens, but what, exactly, is to be tightened and loosened is not clear. An arrow on the sticker points to the hole. What on earth this refers to, and what it is supposed to do, is a mystery.Finally, there is some sort of odd "Y"-shaped device on the bottom, again with no explanation as to function and no obvious purpose for it. I say "no obvious purpose" because some may think its function and purpose are indeed obvious, but nothing is obvious until it is obvious.(To starkly illustrate something that is obvious to one but not at all obvious to another, remember the old TV commercial where a fellow calls his doctor because his appendix is about to burst, but the doctor, in his golf togs, is heading out the door with his clubs and hurriedly sketches out the procedure for appendix removal so his patient can do it himself?)This lack of even halfway decent instruction is a serious failing. I guess I'll go online and see what I can find out, but this should never be necessary for the basic operation of any device.

This is a great rotary cutter. I am an artist and have to crop a lot of watercolors and handmade cards so I use this a lot. I was very impressed. It is heavy duty, and very easy to use. It cuts thick watercolor paper beautifully and can handle a few sheets at time. I am very pleased with this product!! Highly recommend to anyone who needs a rotary cutter.

Product arrived unfunctional with no instructions, and no user manual online either. to This is not a USA product not even a US product. If you are buying for business purposes save your time/money/reputation by buying one of the higher end brands.

Pleasantly suprised by the build quality... it is excellent. When you order something sight-unseen, you hope that it will be useful, and worry that it won't. Thos rotary cutter is a winner. I have thousands of photos to trim, and am al54ady well into the job using this cutter. I really like the magnetic guides that come with it. Set a guide in the position to repeatedly cut the same size... brilliant.
