I had been using a guitar tuner with my bass and it worked well for 4 of the strings but couldn’t tune the B string. This tuner reads all 5 strings easily and the display is easy to read.

Best clip on tuner I have owned, and over the years I have owned plenty. It is designed for double bass and fits nicely on the bridge. The screen is large and easy to read and tuning is accurate.

This tuner is so easy to use that a blind person might be able to get things tuned with it. Simple, easy to gauge, as a fav., easy to read, tracks perfectly, and is super fast. And the price is a steal. I will keep the seller

I'm a bass player, so keep that in mind.Clips on, and just works. That is, as long as you're not tuning too low or using a 5 string. It had trouble picking up the B string on my 5 string, and I noticed it just generally isn't super consistent with lower tunings in general. Will be perfect if you play a 4 string bass and don't go too low, but if you're wanting to plumb the depths of Gehenna with your low tunings, then I'd recommend investing in something like a tuner pedal.

Works as expected on Strat, 5 string Jazz Bass, and 4 string Precision Bass. Fast and informative reading and display. Small size and adjustable angles are much appreciated. Would recommend.

Bought one of these for my daughter to tune her cello!Very compact and works very well ... she's pleased!

This is really an excellent tuner in terms of its accuracy and range. I use it on my bass trombone. It is best used clipped to the slide crook (rather than, say, the bell).Given how I want to use it, the "automatic shut-off" feature is not a plus -- and I suspect it's been added because this tuner requires a standard CR2032 battery and is not rechargeable.So the tuner shuts off automatically after about 10 minutes -- meaning that you can't simply leave it on for an entire practice session and check when you need to ... but instead need to turn it back on every 10 minutes.A rechargeable version with at least the ability to disable the auto shut-off feature would be an improvement.
