The socket works fine with incandescent bulbs, but some LED sockets don't fit well and really need to be screwed in super tight too connect and light up. But other than that, they work as they should. Fair product at a fair price. Big box retail stores sell these for double or triple the cost.

Don't buy this product the inside is loose = fire hazard. This product should be remove from any store.

Great product. Straight forward wiring; connect and wire nut the white to white and black to black. I like that these are water resistant. I have them replacing a cfl recessed can light in a bathroom that has a tub/shower. These things work fine despite the humidity when the shower is running. Would definitely buy again but won't need to since this is a multi-pack.
