Great Product That is Priced Right, is Easy To Use, and Works Like a Charm! Enjoy!
This summer when my wife and I had a new sliding glass door and screen door along with a couple windows installed. By winter we felt a draft around the windows and called the installer back to fix it. He did a great job and also noticed that the original installer put the screen in backwards. He fixed that too, but noticed that it did not roll as smoothly as it should. The installer recommended that we use a dry silicone lubricant because he said it will not cause problems of built up product of wet lubricants.Accordingly, I searched the internet looking for a reliable one and chose this brand. It had a red straw taped to the side that worked great. I sprayed the top and bottom runners of both the screen door and the glass door using the straw provided. Both doors now open and close smoothly and quietly. This product was quick and easy to use and works great.I recommend this product to family, friends, and others who are looking for a dry lubricant for sliding doors and like usage.Enjoy!

Amazing stuff!
Amazing stuff!I use it for my double hung windows, because it doesn’t leave any residue and it’s very easy. I had a window that was stuck for years and after I used the straw to spray the silicone down into the tracks , I was able to open the window immediately. I would caution you to wear a mask while using it, because it can irritate your lungs if you breathe it in. my wife, if you use it indoors be very careful because a lot of the silicone will get on the floors making them very slippery. I don’t recommend that you use this for anything like lubricating, toys or games, such as air hockey surfaces, because it will spill onto the floor and make ipeople much more likely to slip and fall. If you’re going to lubricate things, it’s preferable that you do it outdoors if possible.

Really great stuff! But..
The product is great! I used it to lube our vinyl windows, which have been sticking really bad. So bad that I actually injured my shoulder trying to open one of them recently. After that episode, I decided it was time to fix them! This stuff worked like a charm! And because its a dry spray, it won't attract dirt like using an oily lube like regular WD-40 would. So the window track should stay smooth and clean for a longer period of time.Im knocking one star off and here's why... I don't know if it's a common problem, but this product was supposed to come with one of those thin red straws to attach to the nozzle in order to get a focused spray into tight spaces. Not having that straw really limits the applications in which this product can be used! It makes some jobs impossible to do, and others very messy and wasteful. So I had to go to the local hardware store and buy some of the straws. The seller, Amazon, whomever, should make sure that all of these include the straw. The unit I recieved had the piece of tape on the side where the straw would normally be attached, but no straw...

Slip-sliding away!
Works great for vehicle window runs and rubber weather strips because of the high oil content. Also, for all of those Ford Vista Roof owners out there: This makes your Vista Roof slide faster than it ever has! The problem is with the rear slides and channels. The key is to bend the end of the red spray tube at a 90 to 120 degree angle and then shove it between the rubber lips on the top of the vehicle where the rear metal slide arms travel back and forth. Manipulate the spray tube to spray the upper inside and the lower inside part of the "C" channel for the full length of the "C" channel on both sides of the vehicle. The slide channels open to the outboard of the vehicle so you will be spraying towards the center of the vehicle. If you've done it right, you'll know! If the Vista Roof slows down again in the future, just re-apply the silicone spray to the rear channels.Well, shame on me for not double checking my lubricants. When I used just silicone spray on nylon slides(like mentioned above for Vista Roof) I forgot, it does free-up the slides, but the roof will then shudder near closing. The proper chemical to use is a product made by Wurth called HHS-K(door hinge lubricant). It sprays out as a liquid and solidifies as a grease for staying power. Hope this helps.

Slick stuff...
This is one of the best "Wet" silicone sprays I've found out there, the amzoil product is pretty good too. Most of the silicone sprays you buy at the auto parts stores don't have much liquid silicone in them, this 3M product does. I use it to spray the guides on my salt water rods, reels, equipment (After I rinse them off with fresh water, of course). Odorless and colorless, great all around lubricant where you don't want that SMELL of oil and la-stability of a real coating on whatever it is you're applying it on.For fishing reels I remove the spool and just simply wet them down, I let them soak for a few hours, then blow them off with my air compressor, wipe them down and voila, good as new. Works well too when you're out in the saltwater. I also spray my fishing eyelets on my rods, and generally just wipe the whole rod down (Assembled, don't put it on the inside section of the ferrule or it could cause problems).Great on squeeky doors, spraying down outdoor knives, cable lubricant, whatever... Spendy but it is a good product compared to the Over the Counter cheapos you get.

Great for old vinyl windows in our home
We had thermal pane vinyl windows installed in our home about 15 years ago. They started becoming hard to open and close. I tried a few things .. then found this stuff and it works great. I hit the runners and the slides once a year and they open and close like new. I was getting low and just purchased another can for stock. GOOD DRY LUBRICANT for our vinyl windows.
