XLUX Soil Moisture Meter, Plant Water Monitor, Hygrometer Sensor for Gardening, Farming, Indoor and Outdoor Plants, No Batteries Required

Just received this moisture meter today. So far it works as stated by manufacturer and seller. This will be a valuable tool in my arsenal for happy house plants this winter, once my plants are brought back inside, to prevent over and underwatering. Once I unpacked it, I immediately went to testing it on plants I had just watered, those I knew needed to be watered and those I wasn't quite sure. In each case, it read correctly and I proceeded to water those that needed a good drink. This is a good product, with good value for the money, and is sturdy and accurate. I purchased the smaller of the two options, as most my house plants are in nothing bigger than a 14 inch pot. However, if you have large floor plants, in much larger pots, you may need the longer version. So, my advice is to get this, especially if you're a busy person who tends to neglect your houseplants or if you're someone who tends to overwater. This will save you time and help you keep your plants happy and thriving.

Very useful, works great and I love the long length!! I have another shorter one, but this one is better because of the length. Good value. I dug down with my finger on dry and wet soils and it is accurate.

Purchased 3/2025 & it’s now 9/2025. Love this meter! I’m a newbie plant Mom & before I got this I was killing every plant I brought in my house, even after using the fancy new AI apps. I just could NOT figure out the watering situation!! Weekly, bi-weekly, every couple days, once a month… nothing worked. Then I read a blog that suggested a water meter. I decided on this longer one for when I get up to bigger plants. (Lots of hope & determination over here!! LOL) And it’s worked wonders! It’s quick & easy to measure. Just slide it in & then read the gauge. I measure roughly weekly these days & then add a little or a lot of water depending on the plants care instructions. No more guessing. Happy plants, happy me!! I haven’t killed a plant since I bought it & I definitely feel more confident in caring for my buddies. The longer stick even allows me to measure plants tucked towards the back of the stand without moving them & it is plenty long enough for me to move up to bigger planters. Don’t suffer any more!! BUY IT!

It worked well, until it didn't. Purchased May of 2023, kept it in the house when not using.Last month it stopped working. Almost killed some of my plants.

Amazing product. Just stick it in your plant and it tells you if it is dry moist or wet! Saved many of my plants! I ordered one many years ago and it finally wore out so I just bought this new one and it didn’t disappoint me. You will love it so simple.

I can’t believe I went without this for so long. It is easy to use and accurate with soil moisture. It’s easy to read. I have been overwatering my plants for years before discovering this. I was watering once a week, but my soil composition holds moisture better than I thought. I only need to water once every 2 weeks and my plants have never looked better.

Very sturdy and easy to use. The readings made sense to me, Much better than meters having dual probes.

I’ve had it less than two months and it has stopped working. Must’ve been defective so they sent me a replacement!
