Works great for my purposes!
I bought these to wear while riding my bike at night in the city, to avoid getting dirt in my eyes and/or scratching my prescription glasses if and when I wear them as well. I also wanted to use them while chopping onions, to reduce the tears and eye irritation.I find they work great for both purposes. My prescription glasses are oval and not too large, so they fit over them just fine, although there is a slight "snug" feeling to them - not enough to be uncomfortable, but just an awareness. I do find, however, that if I ride my bike for 3 to 4 hours, which I do on occasion, that my ears are a little sore by the time I get home. That would likely be the case with any glasses, especially since I also wear headphones on top of them, which probably increases the snugness, so I don't fault the safety glasses for that. However, my personal experience lends credibility to what others have said about them being too tight if you have a large head or large glasses. I think my head is rather average (not too large or small), and my glasses are not too large, and while they are comfortable enough for me, I can easily see if my glasses and/or head were even slightly larger, they would probably be too tight and uncomfortable, so be forewarned about that.I haven't noticed any scratches on them yet, but being as they are cheap plastic, I am guessing that before the summer is out, depending on how often I use them while riding my bike at night in the dirty city, I expect to see some scratches. But at this price point, I consider them practically disposable, so I'm not too worried about that.I also love that they help reduce the irritation when I am chopping onions. They are not quite as effective as actual goggles, which I have also worn with 100% success, but I find "real" goggles (the suction-type you use for swimming) to be very uncomfortable after a while, so this is a nice compromise. I just have to remember to put them on before I start to actually handle the onions, and then I'm fine. If I am chopping a huge pile of onions for biggie cooking, I will also use a surgical mask and clear plastic gloves, because sometimes just breathing in the vapors adds to the irritation, so using all that stuff together helps. I LOVE the taste of onions in my food, but geez, they are torturous during the prep phase!I plan to also use them to do some very minor woodworking projects later in the summer. I am quite the novice with that kind of stuff, so it will not be anything major - just using my drill to drill some holes in the wood, but enough to kick up a bit of dust. I would imagine they will be fine for that, but I'm not sure I would expect something this cheap to offer any high-quality protection if I were to do any serious woodworking, such as sawing large pieces of wood or doing any sanding in a closed area. I think I would opt for something of higher quality (and a high-quality mask as well) for that type of project. For the price, though, I am way happy with my purchase! YMMV :)

Great for Rock hounding. ANSI Z 87+ rated 135mm fits my 22.5" head and my sons 21" head perfectly.
I bought these primarily for my 11 year old for rock hounding. But I also use them. I would call my head and my kid's head very average. Mine is 22.5" and his is 21". The glasses fit properly and comfortably for myself and for him. Excellent eye coverage too. Great value.I wear contacts, so I intent to wear these only with my contacts. But for testing, I tried them on with my glasses. I have very small lenses and so these glasses barely fit over my glasses. The the front lens would touch. In general I wouldn't expect these to work with your prescription glasses for most people. Especially if you don't want the lenses rubbing. The MSA glasses that I got, clearly state Z87+ on both sides of the glasses, and in the upper corner of the front of the glasses. This is the official ANSI marking. Z87+ , if you look it up on the National Safety's blog, means that is covers the Z87.1 standard. Which is higher than the standard Z87 marking. This marking means it passes the high mass 500g pointed impact test and a high speed steel ball test of 102 mph at 150' for glasses. Simply put, this Z87+ glasses are properly marked and are high quality safety standards.Pros:- very clear- wide and complete coverage for glasses without moving to goggle style.- clearly marked Z87+ in 3 locations- Nice comfortable fit that does not fall off my adult head 22.5" and my 11 yr old's 21" head.- value pricing- lots of breathing room without much nose bridge stress for general purpose glasses.- nice generic style and all transparent.Cons:- They are glasses so I don't expect them to be comfortable for a long period of time. more of a Neutral comment.

These do very well for prescription lens wearers.
As a very near-sighted individual who also suffers from what optometrists refer to as shadowing (where my uncorrected vision repeats what I'm looking at many times like a kaleidoscope), I need to wear my glasses for absolutely everything or else I cannot make out what I'm doing, and in some cases this would be extremely dangerous. One such dangerous case is when I tend to my 2 acres of lawn. My job is to do the trimming, and anybody who has operated a weed eater knows where 100% of the grass, pebbles, sticks, and everything else on the ground goes -- right back at the user. This is especially problematic with a large walk-behind brush trimmer we use when the overgrowth gets out of control, which is basically an industrial weed eater which is even worse at peppering me with literally everything in its path.I mention these two facts because my glasses cost as much as my first couple of cars and I'm unwilling to sacrifice them to the weed eater god. My last pair received quite a bit of abuse from these lawn tools and I was intent on protecting this pair from the same fate, so I needed to keep my glasses on to see and keep them from getting destroyed at the same time.As luck would have it, today was lawn day and I got to take my new safety glasses for a spin. To begin with, they fit nice but not great. My glasses are the rectangular kind that are as wide as my face, and these safety goggles fit them entirely inside without any problems. The lens of the safety glasses has a slight curvature to it which makes them rest vary far down my nose though, so even as a glasses wearer for the last 18 years I kind of went through that pressure-on-the-nose acclimation period again. The bows fit nicely and snugly around my glasses and behind ears with no weight or pain. The bottom and sides of the safety glasses fit snugly against my cheeks and temples which is the most important area to be covered in my situation. There are large gaps at the top though, where my finger can fit in between the safety glasses and my face. This may be due to the curvature of the lens making the safety glasses basically hook into the top corners of my prescription glasses, so they're likely tilting out sightly due to the shape of my prescription glasses. I also found out very quickly when I put them on indoors that they are very, very glarey. This is not so much an issue outdoors but anyone wearing them inside is probably going to have a lot of trouble.Minor complaints about fit aside, they worked very well. They kept my eyes and my prescription lenses safe all afternoon, and a quick wash under the tap with a sheet of paper towel and it's good as new again. I didn't have any scratching problems as many people seem to be bringing up against these, despite more than a few ballistic sticks deflecting off the lenses. In all, I'm happy. Cheap, fast to ship, quick to arrive, and I don't have to risk scratching/breaking my prescription lenses and frames. The only really worrying bit about the whole thing is an explicit statement in the instructions that came with the safety glasses: "DO NOT wear over personal eyewear." This sounds like it's at odds with features specifically touted in its favor.Since I've purchased these though (May 28) these glasses have become ~$3 as an add-on item whereas mine were $5 free shipping.
