If you need more discs to go in between, I found a 34 pack for 9.99 which are at least 5 times thicker, the same 4” diameter and clear acrylic when you remove the protective coverings. I love that I can freeze them right in the tube and then remove them to store in a bag. The tube is very slightly tapered, you can barely notice it, you fill it with the narrower end down so you can easily push them out the wider end once frozen or even unfrozen. I lightly oiled the tube and the dividers to make it easier to separate the Pattie’s. They froze in the tube beautifully, I then turned the tube upside down and tapped it on the counter gave them a push and they slid right out. Then tap the burgers or use a butter knife to separate them, they came apart easily. This is a great item, I wish it came with more dividers though, you get 8 but I could have used more. I use an ice cream scoop to be sure they are exactly the same size, you can get scoops in any size you like, I use a 1/3 cup size or 1/2 for thicker ones. Great purchase, recommend

Good product. When the spaces are being cleaned, they tend to stick together and get stuck in the lid. Other than that, it worked perfectly for my burger press needs

Was not very durable, we were processing a beef and need a quick easy way to make burger patties, this did not work as we needed. Would be good for small job.

I was very happy with this product but saddened when it cracked in the freezer on the second use. I find the discs work well. The patties come out easily after freezing. I was extremely happy with the value for the money and the output overall.I suspect there's a technique to avoid cracking. I didn't pack it crazy tight but it snug. We all know water expands when frozen. Some of the ground turkey I used was a little more watery than normal. Jury is it. It might be worth a second try.I was very excited about the convenience and function of the product until the crack occurred. Would be an easy five stars otherwise.

Advertized as a way to make burgers ahead of time and freeze them for future use... but the covers for the top and bottom just slip on and do not seal. No seal of any kind. They do not clip in place or screw in place or anything, if not held in place they fall off - so it is not in the slightest airtight and freezer safe.In order to freeze burgers in it we had to put the whole thing in a large ziplock, which kinda defeats the purpose.Additionally, the idea seems to be to press the burger meat in with the big squasher-handle, which we did only gently so as not to overpack it - and the clear plastic cylinder cracked on the first use.Not sure if it was from the burger freezing (even though we were careful not to overfill) or just from the cold of the freezer - where it was advertised to work.Overall... it was a dismal experience.Not just not worth the money, but an active disappointment and headache.

I love this burger press! It’s easy to use especially with the discs to put in between the Patties. Exactly what I was looking for!!

My new favorite kitchen device! Wasn't sure about buying this product, but now that I did I am happy to be doing a review on it. I am a busy, working mom of three, and when it is time for dinner I need it good and fast. The other night I took 6 pounds of hamburger mixed it with my family's secret ingredient (ranch packet) and started pressing out burgers. Now I can pre make them and throw them in freezer for quick dinners, or for camping trips this summer. Two thumbs up for making my life a bit these crazy!
