Aquascape Submersible LED Spotlight for Pond, Garden, and Landscape Features, 1 Watt | 84031, Brown

I have a small pond with a brass crane spitter and I wanted to gently light up the arcing water, bird and pond water. It is perfect!! Just the right amount of light and it is an LED so it should last for a long time. We have used the Aquascape brand for years for our water features and it is made well and of good materials. It has a small base that allows it to sit on the bottom or a spike you can put in the ground. You’ll love it!

The light was packaged well and shipped fast. That's exactly what I needed. I will order from them again.

I have purchased many submersible 12V pond lights over the last 15 years. So far, this is the best one I've used because it keeps the water out and away from the electrical components. That is the most important feature to make sure the product will last. I suspect it also doesn't hurt that this product has LED's instead of a halogen bulb, so it uses less energy and the lamps should not burn out as quickly as long as the watertight seal is maintained. I've been using this for several months now, with good performance and the light is bright enough for my whiskey barrel fountain. This product is more expensive that what I've paid in the past, but if it lasts then its worth it to me. I just wish the stand for it was a little more sturdy, but it works when I hold in down the water at the bottom of my whiskey barrel with a couple of small rocks placed on top on of it.

They last 2-3 yrs and then die. Replacing them is painful as there is no easy way to splice wires below water level near the light and I have to re-run wires under the pond rocks. Great while they last; after having gone through a few past many years, wish there were longer lasting solutions for pond lights.

There are 2 of these with stands and 3 puck lights. All 1 watt. The tranquility these light give off is stunning.

I haven't even plugged it in and already rating it a 2. My immediate gripe is the BASE IS PLASTIC and super custom so there's no way to hold the light it when the plastic breaks. The housing slips into a cradle with 2 ribs that hold it. At this price, the whole thing should be metal!!!! The base has broken on all of my previous lights from other brands even when the light housing is okay. The base is also very light weight, so I'll have to place rocks to keep the light in place - more likely damage to the base. The housing is smaller than I expected, but that won't affect anything.
