We love this stuff to our snakes! It works perfect for the substrate under the coco husk mulch.

Finally, a coconut substrate that isn't full of long fibers! While there are still a few longer strands here and there, most of it is finer, fluffier, lighter, and softer than anything else I've tried. Plus it's also significantly cheaper than the substrate mix I normally buy, especially considering how much substrate you get once the brick is fully hydrated.I will warn you, though, that the process of rehydrating and fluffing this substrate is rather messy. Fortunately, it's also a breeze to clean up.Overall I'm very happy with this substrate and not only will I recommend it to my fellow amphibian enthusiasts, I will also be purchasing it again in the future.

You get a lot for your money. I use this for my hermit crabs and it’s great. The only small issue is that I don’t need the entire brick, so it’s very hard to break some off. I just soak it a little and take that part. Otherwise, great item.

This when hydrated provided a lot of quality substrate. With no smell. I mix with some charcoal and my isopods love living there. We also used it with some other amendments as potting soil for several plants with a lot of success. It is very light and fluffy.

Great product for building terrariums! Smell is a bit strong (expected), but it’s a lot of product for the money.

Perfect for so many applications! Safe with an earthy smell. wet it is a dark brown but dries into a coconut brown. Soft and durable for enclosures and to help with plant growth.
