Does it come with hardware and retaining clips?

Yes. The one bonus with this kit is that is comes with its own clips so you don't have to remove the ones from the original factory unit. However, if you are installing a double-din unit and the unit is not made to be more shallow than usual, it will not fit with this kit. The kit actually recessing into the dash a good bit. I was not able to put my double-din radio back into the dash and had to eat the purchase. I had to put the Scoche kit i had back in even though the color match was not as close.

Does it come with the trim rings? Or is that not needed with this kit?
