Good quality foam replacement filters and great price
Effective foam filters to use in a 3 stage filter system. Helps maintain water quality and clarity. No Assembly required. Longevity is better than marketed. I'm able to reuse these foam sponge filters by rinsing them in tank water until all the crud is rinsed out (DO NOT rinse in tap water or all the beneficial bacteria will be killed) These sponges can also be cut down to fit smaller off brand filter systems, and at end of life span they are good for a quick tank cleaning to remove algae from glass,etc.

Buy this, not the blue ones, for your AquaClear filter
The Fluval people are replacing this product with blue sponges made of a different polymer and with different cell sizes compared to this product. Those blue ones clog up in a fraction of the time that these yellow ones last, and when you take them out to clean them, only about the bottom 1/4” of the filter is used. These original yellow filters are matched better to the AquaClear pump strength and flow rate, so the entire filter gets used before it starts acting “clogged.” In my setup the longevity difference is about a factor of 5. If you have an AquaClear filter setup, buy these.
