Does it only clean the front of the aquarium. Does it clean the sides and back as well. ?

Hello There, The product will clean any side of the aquarium that you mount it to as long it is within operational parameters. Typically people mount it on their main viewing window or their back glass. The product does not move around corners. Also it is designed for preventative maintenance to keep algae from building up by dusting the surface everyday. Therefore it is best to keep it mounted on one side at all times. We have a 350 gallon hex tank. I know the robot can't cross the corners, but is it possible to move the unit between the different sides?

As long as the panes of your glass do not exceed 12 mm or 1/2 you can do that. However you would require extra mounting tape which we could provide. We can also provide you with additional docking stations which would be better. We also can supply you with these as well. However, since the Robosnail is a preventative maintenance tool and not a traditional algae scrapper it would be best if you had multiple units running at the same time every day. This way the algae does not have a chance to build up. If there is build up you would require the Robosnail to clean for more days to remove the algae film at that time the next panel of glass would be twice as built up and etc. We have had customers with bow front aquariums, semi cylinder aquariums, rimless, in wall and standard configurations use our product. i have a 7/8" thick 300 gal acrylic fish tank. would this unit will stick to the acrylic & NOT scratch the tank ?????

No…it won’t ordinarily cause scratches UNLESS a bit of debris happens to get blown onto the pad or a fish (such as a jaw fish) happens to deposit some debris onto the pad. We’ve had one for over five years now and it’s sure nice to come home to a freshly cleaned main display at the end of the day.
