My son absolutely loves this toy.

Kinda funky posturing, but in a few cute way. Nice coloring, with an actual metallic sheen for the armor and nails (you don't see that often on realistic animal models). The limbs and tail are somewhat softer and more malleable than the body, presumably as a child safety feature. We are loving Safari's expanded prehistoric line, as well as noticeable improvements in their modeling, casting, and painting work. Adding new and interesting species to the usual mammoths, smilodons, and already widely represented dinosaurs (like T. rex, Stegosaurus, Apatosaurus, etc.) creates new possibilities for learning: With figures like Doedicurus (a glyptodont and relative, but not direct ancestor, of armadillos) we can more fully explore prehistoric life and make more elaborate evolutionary timelines.
