Skipping Rope

I started doing crossfit and so wanted a skipping rope that would count my skips rather then me huffing and puffing and trying to remember them.So, I began looking for a skipping rope that could do this. The first few I came across were very expensive. And then I started to come across China made ones. And a lot of them seem to come unattached to the handle. However, I needed one that I could get out the box and use with no fuss. So I chose this one even though it is significantly more expensive.So the rope arrived. And to my dissapointment the rope was attached to the handles. And so given the tools and instructions included with the rope. I spent 5 minutes putting them on. It wasn't so bad. But I don't have that time in my day to give to these little things. And I wasn't hoping to do it.The next issue is this took a while to deliver. I think it came from China and so it took longer then other ropes even though it was priced higher.Moving to the actual product. It comes with a spare battery and a pouch to store the rope in(the pouch isn't great quality, it's very stiff). It also comes with instructions/manual for setting up the rope and how to use the electronic tracker.It does feel sturdy, however I'm not sure of how long it will last. Would I buy it again? Probably not.The skipping is fairly accurate. The controls are easy to use and the rope is comfortable.Tldr: I paid over the odds for this compared to others because I didn't want the hassle of assembling this. Unfortunately you have to assemble unlike what the picture shows.
