Q: How long does battery last?

There is no way anyone will get four hours with this light on "full power" even with aftermarket batteries. I'm not the only one if you read the reviews. I only got one hour on full power and I fully charged all six of the 18650 1200mah batteries with my Nightcore charger to make sure they were fully charged. Very misleading.

Q: Will this light use 18650 3.7v 3500mAh batteries?

Using 6pcs 18650 3.7V 1800mAh batteries, a total of 10800mAh is enough to work for a long time.

Q: Where can I get a good 1856 battery for it for back up? I see a bunch of fake1856 battery on eBay that only last minutes.

For back up, you could plug this directly into the wall using the charging ports on the back of the unit. They have two different types of cable connectors that you could use. They also supply one wall plug in that connects to the back.

Q: In what order do I attach the handle, base, washer things (small metal circles) and knob?

put the handle on first, then the wavey washer, then the knob. the design is to tighten the knobs just enough to keep the light at the angle you need without it moving on its own but still loose enough to adjust it when needed without re-tighting the knobs.
