Hardened, sharp, precise, oily!
I burn through these blades when working projects, buying bulk just makes sense. These blades are blued unlike the silver finish in the smaller packs. These blades hold an edge well and from what I have experienced, the tips are a bit more resilient than the silver type. These blades arrive wrapped in paper and coated with oil. Depending upon what is being cut, the blades will need to be cleaned prior to use.

The blades are sharp but the tips break off easily. I read this detail before I purchased them but the price was attractive for the number of blades so I took my chances.

What can I say? The original, the best craft knife/ knife blade you can buy! Don't think you'll save a few dollars buying the cheap, off-brand knife blades. They're all junk. Buy smart, buy Xacto!
