Volume With Management And Shine
Bought this Pureology Pure Volume Shampoo and Conditioner for my grandaughter who colors her hair. She is outside for long hours in all types of weather and conditions practicing and playing college lacrosse which can be brutal to hair. Her hair is long, fine and straight. She loves this product (pink) as well as the Pureology Hydrate (purple) which helps restore the moisture and softness. Switching off between these two products helps her get maximum benefits. The smell is nice and we love the fact that it is paraben-free and vegan. Washing her hair about three times a week can take a toll on her hair and natural oils. Pureology Pure Volume truly helps enhance the volume and bounce with a gentle cleaning; color protection; and makes her hair so manageable and shiny. She loves it and so do I.

Finally, a really good product for your hair
Trade these in this trial size. Both that conditioner and the shampoo have me hooked.

But I HAVE Flat, Fine, Color-treated Hair!
I purchased this because it is advertised as being for flat, fine, color-treated hair....that'd be me! First, it was difficult to work it up into any kind of lather. But being sulfate-free, I really wasn't expecting lather. In place of a sulfate, it contains Disodium Laureth Sulfosuccinate. This isn't a sulfate even though the name leads you to believe it may be in the same class, it's not. It is used as a "gentler cleanser that won't strip your hair but won't strip moisture". Unfortunately, there seems to be an additional ingredient that doesn't allow the DLS to remove build up and rinse properly. Actually, it does just the opposite.I poured an adequate amount into my hand, then rubbed my hands together to start the 'lathering' process. All I created was a messy PASTE. Against my better judgement, I went to work it into my scalp. I ended up with what felt like wet, paste-like straw on my head. I couldn't even get my fingers through my hair. It coated my hair with a thick film that I couldn't rinse completely. How in the world could this be for my hair type?!Tossed out the remainder of the bottle. Thank goodness it was only the trial size! The only positive I can say about it is that it has a very nice scent.

Can dry your hair and scalp.
My hair isn’t oily, just very fine. This shampoo felt like it stripped my hair of moisture and it has in fact dried my scalp. For what it cost I really did want to like it. It was a disappointment.
