I am enjoying this clock! It's a beautiful little clock and the perfect size and weight for a bedside table! I sleep at night with it beside my pillow and there is no ticking sound at all. The clock face is easy to see with large reflective numbers outlined in black. A pleasant glowing blue light surrounds the face, staying on for 5 seconds when the button on top is tapped or whenever the alarm goes off. I love that the alarm on this clock is musical and a voice says, "Good Morning!" The clock alarm works as it should and is easy to set with the back dial. There is a large alarm on-off button on the back also, which makes it easy to find by touch. A battery compartment is on the back and holds 2 AA batteries (not included). I set my clock when I received it weeks ago and it's still keeping the correct time. I am happy I made this purchase and would buy from this company again!

The clock is very cute. When room light hits it the numbers reflect colorfully. Nice quiet sweeping second hand. I kept the clock for these things. But what I wanted was a clock that lights up so I can see what time it is if I wake up and its still dark. The light in this clock is a bright neon blue that lights the circumference of the body of the clock, not the face. It is way too bright for eyes waking up when its dark in the room, and, it barely casts light on the face of the clock. One has to look hard to see what time it is (esp. for someone who wears glasses) and at the same time your eyes and brain are under assault from the light.

Love the look of the clock. Seems good quality, especially for the price. The style would look good with most any decor, even my antique golden oak with an iron bed. Easy enough to set time and alarm. Numbers are clear. I don't need much to wake me up, so that is the only objectionable feature of the clock. As other reviews have indicated, it is loud music and "Good Morning", bright blue blinking lights and you are really in trouble if this doesn't wake you up. Fortunately, I'm retired and rarely have to set a clock except on Sunday and usually wake up before the alarm goes off anyway. It is a good little clock and serves my needs, but be aware of the alarm feature or will you ever be surprised!

We got this to wake us up, plain and simple. I don't know yet if it works because I set it to go off at the same time I'd already set another alarm. So I will make some adjustments in time. The music that this little clock puts out is very impressive but it doesn't shock us out of bed. It's mellow, loud, but mellow. It goes for an hour which is a good thing too considering we have to make some drastic body clock changes. We'll survive. The clock is just cute. I think there are reflector surfaces on the numbers. They do glisten but I don't know if it changes in the dark. There is a sweep second hand and the button to set both the time and the alarm is very easy to use - one you pull out and one you push in. There are tiny light tabs around the face of the clock that also reflect. When the alarm sounds, the face lights up and blinks. It is a very fun and effective aid for deep sleepers, or lazy people like we have become not having to get up early for some years.

We bought this as a gift for our daughter's 7th birthday. She loves the music-based alarm. Unfortunately, the alarm never goes off at the right time, because the clock consistently runs slow, losing up to 10 minutes per hour. I'm not sure if we received a defective clock, or if most of these other reviews are fake, but we are very disappointed. It really is too bad, since the clock itself is cute, and seems to be fairly well-made for the price. Both kids have taken to using it as a toy instead, just to hear the music.

Clock is cute but the sound is quite loud - I put tape over speaker in effort to quiet down. Worst feature is the light. If you press the top button at night to check the time, the led light blinds you. And when the alarm goes off, the led flashes obnoxiously. I have to turn the clock face away from me because it's too irritating and bright to wake up to. Thinking about opening it up to see if light can be disconnected. Or maybe I'll just return it. But I like the wake-up music and the little "good morning!" The face does not glow in the dark.

This clock is a hoot! I LOVE it! I burst out laughing the first time the alarm went off - it plays music and flashes blue lights at you! It's a fun alarm clock. I did take one reviewer's advice and put scotch tape over the sound openings in the back to quiet it down because it IS too loud. In my case I have it in my family room, set to go off in the evening when I need to take a certain medication. I like the looks of the clock, I got the all white version, it's easy to read, it was a reasonable price and it is keeping good time. One thing to be aware of is that the directions tell you to NOT use alkaline batteries! It takes two AA batteries. So I found AA lithium batteries that are supposed to last 20 years. I don't know why you can't use alkaline batteries.

This is a wonderful alarm clock! My mother has very poor hearing. She has hearing aids but doesn't sleep with them in. Therefore she has had the most difficult time trying to find an alarm clock that she can hear. We have purchased clocks that buzz, ring, chirp, etc. Nothing has worked and she has just slept right through them. THIS little clock wakes her up. The music it plays has tones that are various in high and low pitch- and even though it sounds alot like the music the ice cream trucks play it certainly does the job! The numbers are very easy to read, it is easy to set, easy to turn on and off and it is totally silent....no irritating ticking sound. It also has a snooze button for those that may like an extra ten minutes. I plan on buying her another one just in case something happens to this one so she will never be without this clock. Five stars all the way- it has certainly delivered results!
