Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I'm a huge gym fan and loves to work out with others. But I don't like to share equipment with strangers during this critical time. So my brother and I bought this MAXKARE water rowing machine, so we don't have to go out and risk our health.This rowing machine is surprisingly heavy even without the water. It is about 90 lbs. We did end up spending 20 mins to put everything together and fill up the water tank. Basically, you add or drain the water to adjust the resistance. We like to have it half full and I found it to be the most comfortable resistance to work with. The side has great support and it is comfortable too. It barely makes noise when sliding.The only problem is its price. It is pricy and it took us a while to make the purchasing decision. But so far, we are happy with it.

This rower is fantastic!!! I just love the look and how solid it is. Those of us that frequented gyms before covid are spoiled by fancy high end equipment and find it hard to replicate the feel without refinancing our house to purchase a couple pieces of equipment for our new home gyms. Sure the lack of a monthly fee helps, and the knowledge that you will never have to watch boneheads strut in front of the mirror flexing their tiny muscles and staring at themselves again helps a ton, but who wants to run on the treadmill that moves more than they do while using it? Or use the elliptical that starts rocking and makes you feel like that time you ran too fast down the hill and your legs took over and you thought your life may end at only 9 years old and in a very awkward way? Well this, my athletically spoiled comrades, is NOT poised to kill you in an embarrassing way, or tangle you up in tubing until the fire department comes and cuts you out! This is one solid machine. It's quiet, it's smooth, it's good looking! Bet you can't say all 3 of those things about your significant other!! The sound of the water is pleasant, the cardio workout is addictive, and hard to cheat on! (You just thought about your significant other again didn't you? Don't lie!)I have to say I was dubioused (yes its a word now) by the price, but I was wrong, it's well worth it! Is it all unicorns pooping rainbows though? No, the manual leaves something to be desired, but if you have purchased items like this before, you have taken on a superhuman ability to read Chinesetranslatedtoenglishese so you will have no problem. The screen too seems a bit lacking, HOWEVER these are minor gripes, and anyone bent on biggering their muscular figure is most likely going to only use the timer and none of the built in froo froos, however I will not judge if you indulge in froo froos from time to time, we all do. I have but 2 more things to say, buy it now, and good day sir. I SAID GOOD DAY SIR!!! Or miss

This rower is great for the price. The only reason I did not give it a 5 star is because I think the resistance is a little low even when full to the max line. I wish I could add more water. It was easy to assemble and you can work out on it on the first day. It doesn't take up a lot space either. They must have improved the seat because I felt the seat was just fine and the glide was smooth.

First time rowing and I’m already a fan!I’ve hade this rowing machine for three months now and I use it everyday!I have never being the exercise type of person I’m too lazy and everything except for yoga ends up boring me. BUT this is a game changer in my life. I love it! Love the sound of the water inside it and the way every muscle works while I’m rowing.The machine feels sturdy and well constructed and I was easy to ensamble.I’ve never store it behind the door or against the wall so I don’t know if would leak or not.I love my rowing machine and I think I got the best value of them all.

I can't compare to other machines because I have never used one. This is just what I wanted. Sturdy, love the sound of the water swish and it is quiet. I got this so I can do more of a full body workout that has less impact. I'm in my upper 50's and don't like working out in general. i assembled it myself and found it quite easy outside of the phone calls I kept getting to interrupt the assembly process. Love at first Stroke. On a side note, the paddles in the water container over a week started to sound like a bird was chirping inside. it goes away after about 3 minutes but I thought that was odd. Seems like I'm rowing on water with a Bird. in tow. LOL

Pros: It's sturdy and relatively smooth. Adding water is pretty simple and it comes with the purification tablets so I expect to be able to get 4 to 5 years before having to buy any more tablets. The cable/band is great and very smooth. The motion is also smooth and the handle is comfortable. The foot placements are great and the straps are comfortable. The glide is smooth but not ultra-quiet as one review stated. I was concerned about water leakage but I am confident in the container and seal. I keep mine in the horizontal position in my Gym so I do not need to store it.Cons: My primary complaint is that filling the tank to max level, while certainly providing resistance, does not provide me with the resistance I expected. Granted, I lift weights and am pretty strong but I was sort of expecting more resistance. The computer works fine but I do not like the consistent changes from one program to another and I have not yet been able (or want to spend the time) trying to figure out how to simply isolate the screen. The manual for the computer doesn't do much to help this. However, I don't use the rower to constantly read measurements, etc., but rather I just row for my workout.Final Words: I'd buy it again and I intend to keep it and keep using it. It is a very nice machine.

So happy I decided to make this purchase! it was easy to assemble and it’s easy to store this away when I’m done with it. I love that I can feel it’s working every part of my body, it’s a purchase worth making especially now that some gyms are Still closed in my area.
