I have missed Cream of Wheat since I had to go gluten free 10 years ago. This is such a great replacement!

Bobs red mill organic brown rice farina. One of my favorite cereals. I prefer Bobs Red Mill brand the best. In my opinion is tastes better than cream of wheat - creamier in texture and of course tastes different than wheat because it's rice. Easy on an upset stomach. And delicious when you want a creamier cereal than wheat or oats. I like it sweet or savory - a little butter and cinnamon and sugar or a poached egg on top with a little salt and pepper. Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. All of my reviews reflect my honest, personal experience with the reviewed item - your experience may be different. I am not influenced by any outside source. One of my favorite hot cereals. I always try to keep this on hand. Pleasantly grainy with good substance. Somewhat sweet, too. And whole grain! Can't be beat!

It’s very flavorful and I love that it’s organic. I only use cream of rice when my stomach is off as a hypoallergenic, gluten free, easily digested food. I wanted to try this organic option.This Bob’s Red Mill is a nuttier brown rice flavor vs. traditional “cream of rice”, so it is really tasty, but it’s not as finely milled so the end result is chewier and grittier. I still may need to lean on the non-organic option when I need to baby my stomach. That said, if it’s not a concern for you, it’s a great tasting, clean product!

Bob's rice cereal is a great early morning breakfast that is easy on the digestion. Easy to prepare. It is not only a cereal but a great pancake ingredient (on back of package). Its a staple on my shelf. Love it!!

I mix the brown rice with the buckwheat. Very yummy with honey. Cooks fast enough. Reminds me of farina when I was a child.
