Rainbow Sandals Men's Single Layer Soft Top 1" EVA Rubber Filled Nylon Strap

Living in SoCal, I'm familiar with the brand and their story. Heck, the factory outlet store is about a half hour drive from my place. I used to rock the leather single layer ones (have about 5 pairs) but after finding the rubber ones, I'm in heaven. They can get wet without being destroyed! This makes them ideal for beach and pool outings and they hose down after the beach without any issues. They still break in like the leather ones, but I've actually found these to be more comfortable, especially when I'm walking or on my feet for more than an hour. Have the black pair and I love them, and wanted another color to wear with more outfits.These will hold up to the test of time, and while they DO run a little bit (the Mens Large is 9-10 and is just a smidge too large for me) they are well worth the money spent. I can wear them knowing I'll get years of comfort and use out of them, which is saying a lot for flip flops. Buy 'em and love 'em.

I've been wearing Rainbow sandals for the better part of 25 years and the style, quality and fit continues to impress. I have had the leather and cloth versions and never had the straps pull out before the sole wears away. I typically get 2 summers of constant wear out of each pair before they are ready to be replaced. Great style, great fit, and great value.

I bought these after reading a few reviews on Rainbows. Once I got them, they were instantly familiar. These are the flip flops of my childhood. I haven't really worn flips flops, what we called thongs back in the 1980s, in a long time. But these are the ones we wore. They're solid and comfortable like I remember.

Used to be known as the flip flops that hurt your feet for a week and you had to break in before becoming the best things ever and lasting for years(had a leather pair that made it 5 years), even with regular wear. They’re now more squishy, which lends to instant comfort but less durability and they seem to become more compressed over time than they used to. I miss the old less squishy ones. However… in my opinion and as someone that lives on a subtropical island, they’re still the best for the money and you’ll definitely get a year of daily wear out of them before you wear through a layer. Rainbow customer for life.

I bought a pair of these after growing tired of the 6 previous leather pairs of Rainbows I’ve had getting wet, staining my feet, and drying hard. First, the feel of the nylon strap is REALLY comfortable! They do need to break-in a little before you go for a long walk in them or you might get a blister, but once that’s overcome (trust me it’s worth it), these things will become your go-to. Perfect for beach or pool. I wore them consistently and they lasted 2 years. I keep a pit in reserve in case they stop making the limited edition.

I buy a new pair of Rainbows every year, for me and a pair for my mom, it’s kind of a long tradition but after maybe 12 or 13 years I have never been dissatisfied or disappointed in 1 pair I’ve bought this whole time, they are the most comfortable and nicely priced Sandals in my opinion in the world, they are not cheaply made and won’t fall apart for years, they are easy to clean and if you live near the ocean like I do, they will save your tootsies from the hot hot sand and you will be thanking God for your Rainbows.. I guarantee you will not regret trying out a pair and will become part of the family for years and years to come

Great sandals, been wearing Rainbows for decades. Needed a pair of rubber/nylon as my leather pair have gotten wet and separated at the foam and sole. Rainbow why would you put a paper backed sticker on the sandal?! It keeps ripping when I try to remove it! Otherwise great sandal I wish they were made in USA without having the choice between USA made and China made sandals as Rainbow has only some USA offerings. The single layer rubber/nylon are nearly as thick as the double layer leather sandal. The double layer rubber/nylon is much thicker than the equivalent leather sandal but probably good for heavier users. I opted for the single layer rubber and prefer the dual layer leather for arch support and cushion.

What if I told you that you could wear these almost every day for 4 yrs. On long walks, at the beach, out at night, etc. And only after 4 yrs, you start to wear through the top level of rubber. I'd take that!So I'm here to purchase another pair that will hopefully last me another 4-5 yrs. :)
