I am a newbie and this is a great book to get started. The author provided both illustrations and instructions on how to perform various types of readingsThere is also a section explaining what every card means. Two pages per card, so very thorough.

I’ve used this every day for the past year. It’s very well written and helpful in interpreting my cards. Would definitely recommend.

It gives good explanations of the cards meanings but fails to explain to a beginner how to determine meanings on our own without memorizing this books meanings. I've bought three books and all three books contradict each other regarding meanings. When doing a reading the meanings are based on what the reader percieves and so is this book. The meanings are that of what the author percieves. The title is "Guided" and the book in no way guides.
