High Quality Net
I use butterfly nets around my house to swoop up the occasional insect and take them outside to set free. I needed to replace one of my nets, and decided to get this one. It's great! It's very solid and well made. Putting it together was easy. I love the long adjustable handle, as often a critter will be on the ceiling and this enables me to scoop it up easily. Five stars!

Decent quality for the price
I was hoping for something a bit more solid, but this gets the job done, and it is being used for a college assignment. If you are looking for a net that is very solid, this might not be it. Nonetheless, I am satisfied, and the price was reasonable.

Surprisingly sturdy and I like how the telescoping handle tightens into variable lengths. I volunteer for a bird rescue group and it worked beautifully corralling a cute baby heron.

Makes catching birds so much easier!!!!!!!!
Easy to put together. Was a time saver!! Catching my birds with towels was driving me into a sweat. Birds learn quick!!! I became a pro catching budgies. Handle does need periodic tightening. Not a deal breaker. It is a purchase I regret not having made sooner! Unless you would rather chase them endlessly. Not me!!!

Poor quality pole bends easily in midair.
The media could not be loaded. We have purchased several of these nets over the past few months. The first one arrived damaged but was exchangeable through Amazon. The second one got exposed to water and became harder to extend and retract.That second one eventually bent during use.This one bent on the very first day. Just before that happened, I ordered yet another one that I am going to be returning unopened.The metal used in the poles is not strong enough to withstand a strong swipe through the air. It’s a shame, because the net itself is fantastic. But if you need a pole this long, find something more solid. This net will not last you very long.
