The light/laser is supposed to disengage when holstered. Mine did, but as you can see in the picture with no pressure being exerted on the firearm, when your gun is holstered it will turn on with mild pressure is exerted to the side of the grip, even though firmly seated in the holster.What the hell? Talk about a surprise at the grocery store as I was carrying concealed and looked down to see a light and laser beam at my feet.Fail!!! Don't trust for concealed if you're going to keep the light on. A laser/light beaming from your hip is hardly concealed.Holster is adjustable for carry angle, bulky, grips your belt firmly with a hook, and has a lock to prevent someone from gaining access to your firearm.My picture didn't capture the laser beam, but it was on as well.

Got it for the laser and light combo unit for my wife's M&P 22 compact.Easy to install. Easy to sight in the laser.Easy to adjust the settings.Easy to turn the device on and off.The holster is really cool and practical. The holster is not designed for M&P 22 compact but it works. It is a little loose for this small pistol, but as I said; I got this kit for the light/laser system. I needed a subcompact light / laser system for my wife's pistol and this is the best one that I found and I looked at them all (crimson, steamlight, surefire....)Some reviewers have complained about this or that with the unit. It is important to understand that this is a SUB COMPACT unit for small guns. It is not supposed to be compared to full size lights. If you want to hang a full size light on a compact gun then go for it. I did have a Streamlight TLR 4 on this gun and it fit the rail just fine, but is was big and bulky.This unit is trim with good performance and the included holster is "icing on the cake"

This is an amazing add to an already great sub-compact!The light is SUPER bright and the laser is visible in broad day light out to 30'The blinking modes can be slowed down or speed up which is cool... hi speed is blinding to any would be intruder for sure!

I really like the versatility of the holster and the laser light combo. The only reason I couldn't give it a full 5 stars is because the paddle could be slightly more comfortable because it's so flat that it doesn't Contour to your hip like my other concealed carry tactical holsters; it would be nice if the paddle was interchangeable with my safari land holster because I'd use its paddle. other than that the only other thing that is slightly complicated is trying to get into deep programming mode. But I also have to say that I absolutely love the fact that you just have to draw from your holster and I can turn the light and laser on automatically, I personally use the strobing light with a solid laser beam. It really seems a lot more natural/ instinctive to be able to draw and immediately be able to identify your range; vs not having to worry about a flashlight and your pistol.

Viridian should put in metal brackets instead of the plastic ones they send out. other wise I'd give it more stars. It does fit the Ruger Security-9 pistol like a glove so does the holster work with it.

Got this combo for my Gen III Glock 19C and could not be happier ,great fit ,ON/OFF function works perfect ,just great product !

Love this laser/light combo with holster!!!Looks a little funny with it on my Glock 22 because it's shorter than the barrel but it works GREAT!!

I love this set up no more fuming for buttons to activate the laser and flash light , unboxed it put it on zeros the red dot and done flash light and laser shut off when holstered just as advertised cant say enough about how awsome this is, fyi ruger sr9,sr40,sr9c,sr40c all use the same holster
