Convenient hoof boot pad to cut to size
My horse has poor hoof walls and narrow hooves, so she looses appliances several times a year. What tiny bit of hoof wall she has chips and cracks easily without protection. I boot her up until the farrier can come. The Cavallo Gel Pad is perfect for adding just enough pad to fill little spaces in the boot that is too loose. These pads cut to any size I need, and they don't compress like the usual foam pad. I always have a pair on hand.

Not as expected, but not the worst
The guide lines for trimming were not entirely accurate, which isn't the biggest deal but did provide a fair bit of frustration. I also wouldn't call these "gel" they are very very firm. Only slightly more cushion that the boot base I added them to (cavallo ELB). That being said they did seem to provide some additional comfort for my horse, though that's an anecdotal observation. Even trimmed as precisely as possible they still spin around during rides. That could be my bolt model more than anything. All in all I'm not convinced they were worth the money, but being as inexpensive as they are they provide some peace of mind enough that I won't be sending them back.

They are very thin
They are very thin not sure how long they will last but they seem durable

works well except if you have added studs which eventually push through and destroy the pad

Thins but we'll made
The pads are well made and easy to trim. They are thin but I put two in each boot and it helps support my mares soles perfectly.

Didn’t last more than 6 weeks.
My horse wore through these in 6 weeks of riding about an hour a day. Cutting wasn’t as easy as described and required many adjustments. Maybe they were cushioning. I don’t know since horse couldn’t tell me. Not sure I will replace.

Perfect fit
These are wonderful and a perfect fit for the Cavallo Boots, just cut your size and bam goes right in and gives more support

nice pad
really nice pads, wish they were softer. But when a horse is stepping in these what do you want? they need to be tough and they are!!!
