The reason i give four stars for "the value for money" is that I don't know how to value it, :)I ordered wrong type by my own mistake but the products I got are great. I meant to order the dried one but made the mistake to put the order on the fresh gingseng. the fresh gingseng is very fresh and with the strong gingseng taste! I understand the fresh products are not able to return so that I put those into the freezer now.

I bought these to make samgyetang, a Korean ginseng chicken soup, and they were wonderful! I searched all over town and in every Asian market in my town but couldn't find any locally, and I was pleasantly surprised to find these when I turned my search to Amazon. The flavor is good, the freshness was very good, they were even well-packed!You probably won't eat/use them all at once, so I recommend putting them in the freezer once you use what you need, to keep them fresh. :)I think they'd also make a great fresh ginseng tea, but I have yet to try it! But either way, I highly recommend these! Fresh is always better and they are wonderful, as I said, for cooking! Ginseng is pretty strong, too, so this bag should last a long time!

I just started taking ginseng for health reasons, via a friends recommendation. I cannot make any health benefits as of yet, but I can confirm that the product is very fresh. Smelled very earthy and tasted the same. I used honey in the hot tea I made with it, and it was very pleasant to drink.

These arrived early to my surprise. They were in pristine condition, which was super exciting. (I have bought some that arrived beat up.) They smelled fresh and were very plump roots. This is an excellent deal for a low price. Thank you so much for your excellent customer service as well.

This is the second time purchasing this item for my husband. He soaks it in tequila for about six months before drinking the alcohol. It adds flavor to the tequila. He loves it.

When I need to get Jinsang, I always go to Korean store. BUT I found this company and looked over . They sent me really fresh Jinsang.It was nicer then I thought.I made them with chicken soup. Also I made it jelly with honey.I'm glad I found this company. I am happy with the Jinsang that I bought.

They are tiny little pieces not the same as show on the picture. The roots turned yellow color and not very fresh.
