Nice addition to the minibot team
Hubcap is a retool of earthrise cliffjumper's mold and is pretty great. The bright yellow color with the orange face paint somehow looks good. The weapon is nothing new and is just like every other retool of this mold. The best thing about all the minibots is the pose range of them all. They are excellent to pose in some very interesting and dynamic poses. The only downside is the price. It is a bummer to pay deluxe class size for a figure that is about a quarter or half as small as other deluxe classes. All in all Hubcap is a nice addition to any autobot collection and should be picked up if can be found at a discount.

Cliffjumper- a bot made by the fans.
Unlike most, I was alive when these were new. Originally, the toy that became Cliffjumper in the US was available in multiple colors. When importing it to the US, the first run had some of them in yellow, not red.I actually had one, the package was just Cliffjumper, even shown in red but the toy was yellow. Many of us kids began referring to him as Hubcap, or sometimes Yellowjacket. Like Bumblebee, but cooler because he was a sportscar. The mail in deal came because they realized they had a ton of these mispainted Cliffjumpers, and so they took the name the fans had given him and did a mail order. I got the mail order too, and was bummed because it was just my mispainted Cliffjumper again. In the 2000s (2007 I think is spot on), at Botcon they honored the fans with a little Easter egg for us old timers. Hubcap became canon, and part of the official lineup with IDW's comics. Another one added, if you can find him, is the white Bumblebee/Cliffjumper bot named Bugbite, who was a Gobot who made the jump to Transformers, along with Crasher who is an amazing repaint of Mirage now, if you can find her, and a few others.

If you can can't find cliffjumper, this is a cheap repaint. I already had the Netflix Bumblebee. I just missed cliffjumper and now he is too expeneisve.
