So this is 3x the capacity as the normal battery the Dyson v7 Animal comes with?

The original Dyson V7 battery is a 21.6v. 2000mAh battery The replacement battery that I purchased was a 21.6v 6000mAh battery..which should and did give a longer run time on the Dyson…up until the Battery malfunctioned..

How do submit a warranty claim, battery only lasted 6 months?

I emailed PowTree with my concerns over my battery and they credited my account with Amazon…it had an internal failure..can’t ask for better customer service than that..

Does this battery have more life than the original?

The run time is longer because amp/hr rating on this battery is higher than the original equipment battery…however..after about 2mos of normal use..this battery malfunctioned and caused my Dyson to come on by itself and the trigger/switch assembly on the vacuum to be non-operational…the vacuum would not shut off and I had to remove the battery to shut the vacuum off.. The battery was overly warm and a burn smell was very noticeable…would not advise purchasing this particular battery…also noticed on other customer reviews that exact same issue was happening…the Manufacturer has been notified of this issue… Again this was after 2mos of normal usage.. Up until then battery performance was normal and run time was longer that the original battery…something failed internally in this battery
