Whenever I make bread or cookies or whatever that requires me to use a stand mixer, I always end up making a mess trying to pour liquid or flour into the bowl with the mixer running. There is little room to do this and, inevitably, some gets spilled. Anyways, always a little mess and, occasionally, a large mess. Then I saw this item. It is so simple BUT works like a charm! And since it fits on the mixing bowl where, it is easily attached and usable for either right or left handed people. Stainless steel makes it easy to clean and it should literally last forever.

This is a solid piece of equipment. Just what I needed as a baker at home. I used to have a plastic one but its been long gone. This is a much better quality replacement. Works well.Update: the more I use this, the more I wonder how I ever did without it. Great helper!

I didn't really expect this to work but I was pleasantly surprised at how well this works. It has a shallow attachment to bowl so that flour or liquids flow smoothly into the bowl. I make a bread dough that fills the mixer bowl almost to the brim and this pouring shield makes it possible to mix the dough evenly. It also helps when baking with children.It works much better than the brand name one that came with my machine.

I was tired of making a floury mess all over my kitchen counter and the KitchenAid mixer so I purchased this little gadget. I still get flour on my counter just not very much. I believe that is more on me than the pouring chute. I can be a bit impatient and want to hurry and get it done. This fits my lift stand bowl fine and stays in place.I no longer have to try and tip the bowl into the small space between the machine and the bowl. My kitchen stays a bit more neater that before this chute. Highly recommend. This is extremely sturdy and very well built.I don't know why others had an issue with this but I had none and am extremely satisfied with my purchase.

I like this a lot and use it all the time. I bake a lot and putting this on the edge of my Kitchen Aid mixing bowl makes it much easier to pour in more flour or other ingredients, without the mess, or inconvience of having to stop the mixer and lift the head . I also like that it is made of metal. Very easy to clean too and not too bulky to store easily.
